Jamie gave a last glance to the last of the bouncers before closing and locking the main doors behind them. There had been a few grumbling customers, but she'd been able to quell that easily. Magic was great for that.

She walked back into the club proper slowly. Her eyes momentarily lingered on two supernaturals that were from a town over sitting at a table near the bar. They'd gotten wind of the meeting and wanted to sit in to at least inform their town about what was going on and Jamie hadn't seen anything wrong with that. She settled herself on a barstool and leaned her elbows back against the top so she could finish a sliding glance over the club.

Her gaze settled on the one bouncer left in the club, a wereleopard. "Hey Steve, do me a favor and greet our guests at the staff entrance for me?" Steve gave a nod to answer her question before moving off. He already knew the guest list for tonights meeting, humans and all. Kept unwanted humans from trying to sneak back in and made it easier for those coming to get in. Once he was out of sight she relaxed a little, sinking on her elbows a little and just watching the club.

Ailsa had spent the evening trying to obsess over anything but the upcoming meeting, as she wasn't exactly looking forward to it. Sure, it was a necessary evil, but discussing what to do about something that she knew nothing about wasn't exactly the way she wanted to spend her evening.

After Jake left and Jamie cleared the customers out, Ailsa ducked back behind the bar again, washing up some glasses that she'd left on purpose, and sweeping up. It kept her from going completely insane, or at least, that was the idea. Didn't exactly work.

Watching Steve walk to the back, she sighed and boosted herself up on the bar, spinning on her butt and putting her feet on a stool next to Jamie. "This is going to be fun," she said sarcastically.

Sebastian was in his corner, watching the patrons being ushered out. The others from the neighbouring town in his sights and when the last person left, he got to his feet slowly, adjusting his jacket over his shoulders and buttoned it up as he moved around the tables towards the bar. Dressed in black trousers, jacket and button down shirt, the only bit of colour that he wore was the silver ring on his right ring finger.

Stepping up in front of Ailsa, he glanced at Jamie before flicking his gaze to the other two seated across the bar before looking at Ailsa. "Who are they?" he asked looking between the two girls.

Jamie leaned her head back a little to give Ailsa a faint smirk. "Sadly it isn't supposed to be fun. Just informative." She dropped her head to watch Sebastian move towards them. He'd just fit in at any goth club right now, and there was the faintest shaking of her head to get rid of that thought.

Her gaze drifted to the two at the table. "Tom and Suzie." The scent of them said wolf so she didn't say that. "They want to listen in, carry news back to their town. I didn't see a problem with it." She tilted her head lazily to look at Sebastian. "They're regulars downstairs."

"Same smell," Ailsa deadpanned, giving Jamie a little smile.

Reaching behind the bar, Ailsa grabbed her sweater and pulled it around her shoulders as Bastian came forward, straightening it before scooting forward a bit to give her husband a kiss, holding his waist between her knees.

She nodded to Jamie's explanation and rubbed Bastian's arm. "I've seen them a few times in here," she offered with a little shrug, and then looked at her watch. "I hope everyone gets here soon."

He lightly brushed Ailsa's cheek with the backs of his fingers when she kissed him and smiled a little at her then set his palms against the bartop on either side of her as he listened to Jamie's explanation.

He sniffed the air and shook his head. "Woof." he grunted then smiled at Jamie and Ailsa. "So long as you trust them." he said and inclined his head. "They'll be here baby. We all want this resolved as quickly as possible." he said.

Arriving at Noir after picking up Kristine, Parker ran his hand down the back of Arianna's head as she lay it on his shoulder. "You can go back to sleep in mummy's office, dear," he promised, knocking on the side door to the club.

After being let in, he lay Arianna down in Jamie's office, giving her a kiss before turning out the lights to join the rest of the odd medly at the bar. "Cheers," he said with a wave to everyone, kissing Jamie and Ailsa hello before inclining his head to Sebastian. "Ari's asleep in your office," he told Jamie with a smile. "Figured she didn't need to hear all of this." His eyebrow shot up when he caught sight of the werewolves and he shrugged a little, figuring Jamie knew them. Leaning against a stool, Parker pulled Kristine up against him and rest his chin on her shoulder, just waiting.

Kristine followed Parker inside, she smiled slightly upon seeing Jamie, Ailsa and Sebastian. "Hey," she managed, not really sure what to say.

She sighed softly, really wishing this didn't have to happen. Resting against Parker, she relaxed slightly, waiting for the others. This was definitely not something she thought she'd ever have to deal with.

There's the faintest of snorts at Sebastian's woof from Jamie. Though the two don't look entirely amused by it. Granted they don't say anything either.

Jamie gave a smile to Parker and returned Kristine's greeting, "Hi." She gave a nod at Parker's words and tilted her head to look at him. "Can I take her home? Pleeeeeeeease?" There's a pout to go with the please, and for some who haven't seen the face it might be amazing how closely she resembles Arianna at that moment.

Ailsa snorted along with Jamie at Bastian's woof and rolled her eyes. He just couldn't help himself. "I know," she nodded. "I'm just ready for it to be done," she admitted. "And I'm hungry again," she grumbled. Being young sucked.

She returned Parker's kiss and grinned at Kristine when she came in behind him, waving. She laughed at Jamie's begging, wondering if anyone could possibly say no to that face.

Sebastian nodded to Parker when he made his greetings and did the same to Kristine. So she was the little mortal girl that had been spoken of. He glanced her over before smirking at the ones who'd snorted. "Soon my dear." he said, cupping Ailsa's cheek. He'd meant it for both things she'd said. The wanting it over and her hunger.

When Jamie begged, Sebastian crooked a brow then looked at Ailsa, wanting to see if her reaction was one of longing. Then he turned and looked at the two at the table. "Anti social aren't they?" he asked, loud enough for them to hear. "Sort of like myself..however.." he pointedly looked at both and smiled a little. "I don't shed."

Laughing at Jamie, Parker nodded. "I have a bag of her things in the car," he said with a smile. "I figured you'd want her," he admitted. "She's got all of her school things too, if you want to take her in the morning. Otherwise, I can," he shrugged.

"Thanks for that," Parker laughed at Sebastian, shaking his head. Turning his face into Kristine's neck, he gave it a kiss and then muttered, "They're werewolves," so that she wasn't left completely out of the joke.

Kristine knew they had to be something. She just didn't know what, having not seen them around town. New people were showing up and she'd lost track.

Thankfully, Parker clued her in. Smiling and shivering slightly from the kiss, she chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Makes sense now."

Marianne hadn't bothered with much, she just told her friends that she was closing down the bar early and that things needed to be taken care of. She sent them on their way, and watched her bouncers, both of them supernatural, followed the elder folks home. She glanced at Rosie and then to her cousin. "Take Rosie home, stay with her. ANd Rosie? If she tries to walk out of the house, hit her as hard as you can with a frying pan upside the head. Knock her ass the fuck out, okay?" Rosie blinked at Marianne and then nodded.

"Sure thing, baby girl. Sure thing. I promise I'll knock her out if she tries to get out of the house."

"Good." Marianne grabbed her jacket and headed out the door, and got into her car. She waited until Rosie and her cousin got into Rosie's car and then left. She headed for for Matt's house first to pick him up. She got out of the car and headed up to the door to knock on it once she was assured that it was the right apartment number.

Waiting patiently for him to open it, she leaned back against the balcony behind her and when he did, she headed out to the car with him. And together, in silence, she headed for Noir with Matt in tow.

Once there, she parked the car and turned it off, getting out of the car to head inside. The scent of the other werewolves hit her first thing, along with the smell of the vampires. Her nose curled up and her eyes flicked to the other two werewolves. Before they could growl at her, she let her eyes flash amber and then moved further into the room to greet her friends. A ruffle of Kristine's hair, a light kiss to Ailsa's temple, a touch to Jamie's arm. A brief nod to Parker, and a light touch to Sebastian's arm.

Matt had taken the night off, knowing full well that Mari was closing up early and he'd be able to get to the meeting. But he wanted to hit the internet, see if he couldn't dig up something else to be contributive to the conversation. When the knock at the door came, he shoved the laptop in his backpack and slung the strap over his shoulder, grabbing his keys and opening the door. "Hey Mari," he said quietly, following her towards the car.

As they entered Noir, he glanced around at the gathered company. There were three that he didn't know, but Jamie probably did, and that was all that mattered. He found a seat to sit in, sinking down quietly in it and dropping his bookbag on the floor beside him.

Perched atop Noir as per usual, Ellesandra watched the customers leave and the supernatural and chosen humans begin to arrive. Only when she saw the last of them, a little blonde were tiger, make her way to the side door, did Ellesandra fall gracefully from the roof in front of the door.

A brief nod to the girl later, she'd held open the door and gone inside, making certain that the childe was close on her heels. As she knew, everyone had arrived, and were assembled at the bar. Hellos were not given, instead Ellesandra nodded once, encompassing them all, and then took her place. Preferring to stand, she eyed the unknown werewolves with a look of complete distain, and rest a hand on her hip, waiting for the proceedings to begin.

Logan headed inside not long after the witch, her arms crossed over her chest calmly. She moved over to a corner to stand there, she gave a brief nod to Marianne who returned it. She settled into her little niche and leaned back against the wall calmly.

Her eyes skipped between each of them, some she knew, some she didn't. She waved at Ailsa and realized that the girl had joined the ranks of the undead. Right about now, she really wished her brother was here. She was outnumbered three to one on the werewolves, rather, two to one since Marianne was a friend.

The two wolves glared at Sebastian, Tom curling back his upper lip in a silent growl. Jamie watched them, her eyes going cold for the moment it took for Suzie to get Tom to stop the growl and glance at Jamie. Both dropped their eyes from the Fae's gaze. She then leaned forward to slap Sebastian's shoulder softly, her eyes already gaining their warmth. "Play nice. Rules still stand."

She turned to Parker and grinned brightly. "You are a peach! And no. Mine." He will hopefully take that as Jamie saying she'll drop Ari off at school. She'll gladly get up that early to see her daughter off.

When Mari and Matt came in she waited until Marianne was done claiming everyone as Pack before waving hello to both of them. The two other wolves lowered their gaze first from Marianne's, accepting her claim on them and her alpha status. "Would have warned you if I'd known in advance." She murmured to Mari softly. And when Elle and Logan came in, she gave a nod in greeting to them both.

She cleared her throat as the group settled. There was only one person missing, but she knew where he was. "Ok so, for starters now that you all are here. Tom and Suzie here are from the next town over and asked to listen in so they can let their town know what's up." She glanced pointedly at Sebastian. "I do hope you'll all play nice." She shifted to lean forward and rest her hands on her knees. "We're all here because of the alarming number of disappearances that have happened. We know that they are targeting supernaturals, and it really has to be stopped." Her gaze flickered over everyone before settling on Ailsa for a moment. "Before it reaches our towns." She gave another glance around. "Who wants to start with what they know?"

Ailsa tensed and let out a low hiss when the strange werewolves reacted to Bastian's teasing, her hands gripping the edge of the bar to keep herself in place. She knew Jamie's rules, but any kind of threat to Bastian was really hard for her to take lying down. At least he was in front of her if she decided to do anything stupid. But, luckily, Jamie took care of it.

When everyone else came in, Ailsa grinned and waved at them all, save Ellesandra, who she only flicked her eyes to for a brief second before busying herself with looking elsewhere. Listening to Jamie, Ailsa nodded a little bit and then looked at Bastian, trusting him to tell everyone what he'd found out.

He smirked when the male growled at him and flashed his eyes at him before winking. The slap to his arm made him smirk a little. "I am playing nice." he said. "As nice as I can be." he pointed out. Nodding to everyone who had come in, he gave Mari a smile when she touched his arm.

His hand settled on Ailsa's thigh when she gripped the counter top. Calm down, he fed into her mind.

Sebastian glanced around the group and cleared his throat. "The young are targeted most. Probably because they are the weakest." He said. "I've spoken to some 'old friends'." he said, accentuating the old. "They don't know what it is and no one's seen it." he said. "Children," he looked at Jamie and Parker then to Mari, "Are at risk because they are so young." he said. "This includes Ailsa." he said, giving his wife's knee a little squeeze. "I've also been told that the one's who have disappeared are alone when it happens." he said. "No one knows if the elders are at risk but I'd imagine it's likely." he said, glancing at all of them. "There doesn't seem to be any violence. They're just...gone." he said quietly.

Parker laughed at Jamie and then said his hellos to everyone that came in, introducing himself to the people he didn't know.

Listening to what Sebastian said, Parker tensed and his eyes flicked toward Jamie's office, where Arianna slept. His hold around Kristine's waist tightened a bit, needing something solid to cling to, honestly a bit terrified. When Sebastian finished, Parker shifted Kristine over and moved to Jamie's office, coming back with a still sleeping Arianna in his arms. He sure as shit wasn't going to leave her alone after hearing that, even if he was just outside. A bit of gold dust settled around him as he glamoured the little redhead out of the conversation, just in case she woke up.

Kristine smiled, making sure to say hi to the rest of the group, after they'd arrived.

Kristine frowned, not liking what Sebastian had said. They just up and disappeared? No traces whatsoever? And nothing violent? What was going on? She didn't like that one bit. Kristine squeezed Parker's hand lightly, feeling worried and more frightened than before.

"Is there anything we can do?" She voiced her fear, looking at Arianna for a moment.

Marianne tensed at Sebastian's words and then glanced at the others in the group. Her gaze flicked to each of them in turn, and then to the other werewolves, waiting for their responses. When she recieved nothing, she spoke up softly. "A contact of mine called me and I told Jamie about it, she said she had heard some about it, but not much. As Sebastian said, there is no violence, there is nothing. They're just gone. One day they're there, laughing, smiling, talking to friends, and two or three days later, the friends come by to check on them, and everything is in place. There is not a trace of anything out of place. It's as if they decided to get up, walk out of their house, and leave everything behind and go else where. Even their cars are still in one place, and after all, who in this day and age walks much anymore?" She shook her head a little bit and settled her arm about her waist. "Whole families have disappeared. We don't know what happens to the older people, but the children in specific are targeted."

She turned her gaze to each person, taking them in turn. Her gaze fell on Ailsa and something in her tensed, almost dangerously. "If it can be prevented, we're to stay in groups at all times. Safety doesn't seem to come in numbers, but perhaps whatever is causing this will hesitate if there are older, stronger supernaturals around that may be able to fight back." She shook her head a little bit.

Her gaze flicked to Kristine, then to the child in Parker's arms. "We protect our skins, we protect the people who need it. You, Ailsa, the child. We protect everyone as best we can."

Matt smiled and returned Ailsa's wave before shifting his attention back to Jamie and the conversation at hand. It was creepy, the description of how they had been there one day, gone the next. It reminded him of that book Phantoms by Dean Koontz, though the movie wasn't half bad either. But people had just disappeared. And then that thing with the penchant for singing that religious song.

He stifled a shudder and glanced up from the table as Parker returned with the little girl. How could anyone or anything just start picking off children? The younger supernaturals? For once, being human was giving him an advantage. Matt bit his lip, trying to think of something to ask, to contribute, but his earlier search had turned up nothing and he couldn't think of a helpful question. He twisted his key ring around his finger, remaining quiet for the time being.

Ellesandra listened mutely, her arms crossed over her chest. This was bad, given that she'd never encountered a problem like this, in all her years, and it made her furious. Her palms grew hot and she dropped her hands to her sides, little flames crackling against her pant legs for a moment before she forced them to die down.

Her eyes went to Jamie and Marianne, a brief flicker of sympathy wafting to both, and then she took the group in as a whole.

Logan tensed as they said that the young were taken. Compared to Landon, she was young. Compared to most in the room, apart from Ailsa, she was. Shit. She looked at them and shifted her weight from one foot to the other instinctively.

She stronlgy wished her brother was here now, he knew how to calm her down. But for now, she'd just stand there and pretend everything was all right. She'd listen, and pass the information onto Landon.

Julian knew he was running late. Between scoping everything out and then getting caught at the guy's house by the police it had been an interesting trip, and a little longer than he thought it would be to boot. And then there were speed limits to adhere to while driving back. Joy.

Once he reached Noir's parking lot he moved to the side entrance and gave a knock. Giving a small nod to the leopard he moved into the club, the leopard following behind him now that everyone was here. His steps slowed briefly as he took in the group assembled, his gaze lingering on the new Fae and child. Something lurked behind his eyes for a moment before he blinked and it was gone. "Sorry I'm late, got tied up." He moved behind the bar and then onto it to settle himself behind Jamie, comfortably settling a leg on either side of her. He placed a soft kiss to the top of her head. "Did I miss much?"

The bouncer settled himself against the wall closer to Logan than anyone else. She was feline where all the other weres were lupine, though he stayed far enough away to leave her her personal space.

Jamie listened to Sebastian quietly. And when Parker came back with Arianna she leaned a little to play gently with the girl's hair, her features soft and etched with the beginning starts of worry.

"I pretty much got the same information." She nodded at Mari's comments. "I agree with Marianne. If this only happens when the people are alone, groups would be good. No one ever alone." She glanced at Kristine and Matt, "Though as of right now humans seem to be safe. Which is good for you two at least."

When Julian came in and settled himself behind her, she leaned back into him, though still leaning to the side enough to not have to stop playing with her daughter's hair. She relaid the info the group had shared to him quickly to catch him up.

"I've also started doing..." She closed her eyes a moment, gold dust shimmering until there was a table with a map sitting between the group and the two other wolves. Small points glimmered on the map, "..this. Every point is where a disappearance has taken place." A murmur from Julian against her ear and a new point appeared where he'd gone to investigate. The map itself showed a small cluster near on upper eastern coast and the several that spread across the midwest until they stopped before Nevada, the last point in the western part of Utah. "Seems they are moving in a certain direction." She tilted her head back to look at Julian. "What did you find out anyway?"

Ailsa listened to all of this, leaning against Sebastian a bit, trying to keep herself from completely wigging out. She even went so far as to bite her tongue for a minute, trying to make the sensation and taste of blood calm her, but to no avail.

She got up, moving around Bastian to get a better look at the map, her eyes tracing from where it started, somewhere around Maine, to where the trail ended. "But...that's us..." she said, shakily pointing to a spot entirely too close to the new marker for her liking. "So this thing's just...systematically wiping out everything it comes across?!?" She was starting to lose it now, blood red tears coursing down her cheeks unchecked.

"And we know nothing?! NOTHING?" she yelled, shaking like a leaf. "This...thing is just going to blow through here, and we're all going to..." she couldn't even finish, crumpling on the floor in a little ball, sobbing into her knees. She didn't want to die, obviously, but the thought that the people she loved could be taken with her was too much for her to handle.

Bastian listened to it all, watching Logan settle in then glanced at the child in Parker's arms. Shaking his head, he glanced at Ailsa then looked towards Julian when he came in.

Moving a lttle to look at the map, he kept his comments to himself, even moving when Ailsa got off the counter to go towards the map.

He started forward when she yelled and grabbed for her just as she crumpled. Cradling her as she shook and sobbed, he turned and looked up at everyone. "It does appear to be headed for us." he said, looking at each in turn. "The sooner we figure this all out, the better." he said, then lifted Ailsa up into his arms and moved her back to the counter top. Setting her on it, he lifted her head, cradling it in his hands. "You are not going to die." he told her. "No one is going to die." he said and turned his gaze to everyone in the room. "Right?" he asked. "We all live here. We've all got lives and while we all may not like each other," he looked pointedly at Ellesandra. "We ALL must do what we can to ensure we survive." he said. "We protect the young ones. As elders," he looked at the older ones in the group. "It's a must." he said, then looked at the two humans. "We even protect them if it becomes necessary."

For him to say that was a feat because normally he wouldn't have cared.

Parker watched Julian make his entrance, and a tiny dusting of gold appeared on his shoulders, going unnoticed by anyone except maybe Jamie. Shaking off his loathing of the vampire, he listened to what they all had to say, and frowned at Ailsa when she broke down, holding Arianna's head against his shoulder a little more tightly.

Listening to Sebastian, he nodded. "Of course we will," he agreed, as much for anyone's benefit as for his own. His free arm snuck around Kristine's waist when she and Matt were brought into it, and he pulled her a little closer to himself.

Kristine noticed Julian and smiled slightly at him. Hearing what Mari said in response to her question, Kristine ducked her head, nodding slightly. She didn't like feeling helpless and that was how she felt now, like she couldn't do anything to fix this.

Seeing Ailsa crumple, Kristine tensed, glad Sebastian was there. Hearing what he had to say, she nodded slightly, wishing there was more she could do. She smiled slightly, giving Parker's hand a light squeeze, happy he was there.

Marianne moved over to look at the map, staring at it for a few moments. That was them. It was heading straight for them. She took a deep, shaky breath and looked at them. "We all sleep in shifts. I don't care how exhausted we'll be, we sleep in shifts. We are NOT losing anyone. Pair up, decide who you're going to be near."

She glanced at each of them, her teeth gnawing on her lip. "Look, it's like Sebastian said, we're all in this together. We stay in this, together. We each have something we love and cherish that we want to protect. All of us have something that's important to us. Whether it is simply life, a child, a person. We are in this together, and this thing, whatever it is, plays for keeps." She gave a soft shrug after a moment or two, her gaze flicked to the other wolves. "Take it back to your Alpha, tell them that you must stay together no matter what. Stay in groups."

She then returned her gaze to the others in the room, moved back over to her perch. When Ailsa broke down, some part of Marianne had wanted to comfort her. But Sebastian was there. "Ailsa, you're NOT going to die. None of us are going to die if we can help it."

While the others talked, Matt stood up quietly and moved around the edge of the group to see the map in question. Little dots moving in a path towards Mayham, a path that held so many secrets. He crossed his arms over his chest, staring down at the map while the conversation slowl filtered back in, grabbing at his attention again.

He flinched when Ailsa cried out. This entire thing sucked. "One for all, all for one. Or however that goes," he murmured quietly, finally looking up from the map to the new arrival, Julian, then to Sebastian and Ailsa, to Parker and Jamie, then to the speaker, Mari.

"You won't die because there's warning. Probably more than any of the others had. We know something is coming and we can do our damndest to stop it here and now. Whatever it is..." He lacked an ending to the sentence and shrugged, looking down at the toes of his sneakers again.

Ellesandra watched as Julian came in and then moved with the others to get a better look at the map that Jamie had made. It certainly didn't look good. She wasn't worried for herself so much as everyone else. After all, she'd be the least likely to be taken, given her extreme age.

She met Sebastian's gaze evenly and gave a slight nod before turning to look at Marianne when she piped up. She didn't quite like the idea of being paired off with someone, much preferring to continue her patrol as usual, but she said nothing, deciding to do what was needed as it presented itself to her.

Logan glanced at them for a few minutes, her voice was very low when she did speak. "I'll talk to Landon." That was all that she said for the moment, her gaze momentarily transferred from them to the leopard who came to stand near her.

She moved over to look at the map as well after a few moments, her fingertips lightly tracing it. It didn't bode well, but they would deal, she supposed. SHe moved over to stand near her wall again. "Yeah, no one's going to die. We've got warning..so we can, maybe, stop this.."

Julian leaned forward around Jamie to see the map, feeling her lean to the side closer to the girl. He had questions about the little red head in the male Fae's arms, but now wasn't the time for that. So he kept to just studying the map and listening to people.

He tensed slightly at Ailsa's breakdown, more because of the feelings behind her screams. And a nod at Sebastian's statements about no one dying. "We have an upper hand knowing and planning and figuring out."

He didn't comment on Marianne's suggestion about staying in groups. He wasn't quiet sure how he felt being tied to someone, even Jamie twenty-four seven until things were settled. And one everyone had spoken their peace he cleared his throat to gather attention. "As some know, I went to check out the closest disappearance location. See if I could catch something the police missed, with them being human and all." He wrapped his arms around Jamie's waist loosely. "Not much to find really. But there was the strong scent of magic." The barest of pauses, if he were human it'd be blamed on him taking a breath. Being a vampire, it was just there. "It isn't Fae magic either. I've never caught this scent of magic before, but it's distinctively not Fae. I also followed the scent as best I could of the person's trail." He gave the barest of glances at Ailsa, wary of setting her off again, but things had to be said. And any comments of a blood hound nature were going to get growls, "The trail just ends. It went to a couple blocks and then was gone. Which might explain why there was no car missing. If they could open a doorway from one place to the other with magic."

When Julian leaned forward Jamie knew that he would assume her leaning closer to Parker was for him to get a better look. However the lean gave her the closeness and distraction of the vampire to brush a finger over the dust on Parker's shoulder closest to her. There was also the faintest raise of her brow at him if he were to catch her gaze in time, before Julian settled back and she back against him.

Jamie's heart went out to Ailsa, even while she sat back and let Sebastian take care of her. Jamie felt almost as panicked at times, she just had years to perfect her court face.

"No one dies." The words were said softly but with enough power in them she was sure everyone heard them. She hadn't meant for the power to leak into her voice. Hadn't noticed she'd done it until she noticed the faint golden glitter that settled around her and Julian. She gave a shake of her head, rubbing her face with her hands. "We'll fix it. We'll protect each other. It will be alright." She was able to say the words only because in her heart she believed it to be true. It might be a show of the faith she had not only in herself but the people in the room that the words were able to pass her lips.

After Sebastian moved her to the counter again, Ailsa wrapped her arms around his shoulders and buried her face in his neck, trying to get her useless and hysterical crying under control. It wasn't helping anything, and only making people feel even more sorry for her, and she knew it.

Pulling back, she grabbed a bar napkin and wiped down her face, trying to make herself look presentable again, and smiled weakly at everyone's assurances that she'd be fine. "We'll fix it," she echoed softly, giving a little nod, and trying to not look at Arianna in Parker's arms, lest she start crying again. Letting out a sigh, she leaned her forehead against Bastian's shoulder, waiting for anything else that might come.

He couldn't do much more than hold her when she clung to him. Instead, he just kept turning his attention and nodding as each person said their piece. At least they were all of the same mind and that meant that they all agreed.

"So we understand each other." he said, nodding. He looked at Mari. "Shifts are fine for those that can move about anytime." he said. "However, for Ailsa and myself we must sleep during the day." he pointed out. "I can hold off for longer, passed sunrise but Ailsa is new." he reminded everyone. "Her sleeping patterns are directly linked to the rising and setting of the sun." He thought a moment then let out a frustrated growl as Ailsa pulled away and wiped at her face. He noted she didn't move overly far from him either, which suited him just fine as he wasn't about to leave her side. "Is there anyone willing to stay with us as we sleep?" he asked quietly, lowering his gaze. Asking was bad enough, having to see the reactions that might happen was another matter entirely. "I don't ask for myself. I ask for my wife. I cannot protect her when sleep overtakes me and I fear.." he paused and swallowed. "I fear that that is the opening that this thing just might need if it chooses to take her." he said quietly. "If I have to beg for her safety...I will. I will put aside my pride for her." he muttered and kept his gaze averted and fixed on a point on the floor.

Parker listened to everyone's resoluteness to keep each other safe and felt a bit of hope restored. If they could band together, in a way that no such group of hodgepodge supernaturals had before, they could beat this thing.

At Sebastian's request, Parker's heart went out to him. Before anyone could respond, he piped up. "I will," he said with a nod to the two vampires. "I can work just as easily from your kitchen table as I can from my office."

"As for Ari," he said, looking at the little girl in his arms, "I think we should pull her from school," he admitted softly to Jamie. "Maybe even send her to Council for a while."

Kristine was going to opt for staying with Sebastian and Ailsa, but really what could she do? Hearing Parker volunteer, she smiled lightly.

"I honestly don't know what I can do here, but if there's anything, anything at all, I'll do it," Kristine piper up, her offer for the whole group. She honestly didn't know what could be done, but really, she'd opt for anything. It was better than just sitting around waiting for something to happen.

Marianne smiled slightly and then glanced to Sebastian and Ailsa at his words. Her teeth found her lip for a moment or two. "And if Parker has to leave for any reason, I'll take his place."

After a moment or two, Marianne's gaze went to Kristine, a faint smile on her lips. She just shook her head in response, she was happy that her friend wanted to help so much...she just wished that she could do something to protect her easier.

Then she looked over at Parker. "If nothing else, those of us who can shapeshift, can play big, friendly animal on the school grounds. At least, those of us who aren't likely to get shot."

Ellesandra stood to the side, listening to the plans and the ideas for insuring their safety mutely. She nodded at Marianne's idea, figuring that wouldn't be a bad idea of a way to patrol across the board. Marianne was less likely to attract attention in that form, as she was quite good at playing the happy pup.

Letting out a sigh, she unwound the material belt from her waist and ripped it in long pieces, one for each of them. Laying them out on the bar, she closed her eyes and muttered over them, running her hand down the length of the material, which glowed white hot at her touch and then regained its normal blue sheen as if nothing had happened. Passing them out to everyone, she then crossed her arms over her chest. "Keep them touching your skin," she ordered, the look on her face giving no one room to argue. "It has the same charm that my shop door has on it. If you need of me, I'll know it, and where you are. It may help in tracking as well," she offered.

Logan snorted at Marianne's words and shook her head. "Sorry, but I can't do it. Big tiger, little school grounds. I'd be dead before the end of the week." She shook her head a bit and then caught the words 'Well, those of us who won't get shot.'

SHe glanced at Elle and moved over to take one of the strips. She tied it about her wrist and then settled back against the wall.

"I'm open if anyone wants a guard." Julian said volunteering himself after a moment. And he didn't have to sleep or stay out of the sun like Sebastian or Ailsa. "Or if there's something else I can do to be helpful."

Julian moved and took two of the strips so Jamie wouldn't have to. He lets one fall into Jamie's lap and ties one easily around his own wrist after watching Logan do it. Seemed the easiest place to keep it.

Jamie glanced at Sebastian when he asked for the protection, her brain not fully taking in his request. Her mind was elsewhere, and drawn exactly there at Parker's suggestion. She nodded slowly in response. Quiet for a moment as she leaned forward and away from leaning back against Julian. "I want to go with you when you take her back." Because that way there's at least a little more time before the break.

She glances at the strip of fabric that falls into her lap a moment before wrapping it around her wrist. A faint shimmer and it looks like a regular if not slightly ornate bracelet, something found more in the Fae realm than the human one. Giving a small shake to her head she glances around the room. "Is there anything else that needs to be discussed? If not I say we call it a night."

Ailsa gave a grateful smile to Parker when he jumped at the request, figuring Sebastian would be most comfortable with him anyway, given that they were friendly. She took both her own strip of fabric and Bastian's from Ellesandra, not meeting the witch's eyes before tying it around her wrist. She did the same to Sebastian, not giving him a chance to argue with her about it.

Nodding a bit to Jamie, Ailsa let out a sigh and leaned a bit more against Sebastian. "Yeah, I've had about enough," she admitted quietly.

Sebastian glanced to those that offered to stay with them and nodded. He cleared his throat and held his head a little higher. "Thank you." he said quieter then he'd intended. He wasn't sure if they had offered because of Ailsa or not, and really it didn't matter.

He glanced at the strip Ailsa tied around his wrist then to the witch. He'd figure out a better place for it later on. "I can't think of anything else." he said and looked at Ailsa. "I think the child should be brought to her realm now." he said. "It's one less to worry over." he said, glancing between Parker and Jamie.

"Me too baby." he muttered when Ailsa leaned against him more. He secured his arm around her and pressed a kiss to the top of her head. "I know Ailsa will be safe while she's here working." he said. "So if there's anything needed to be done during those hours, I can spare a few." he said. "So long as I'm back here before she's off." he said. "Other than that, I can't think of anything. I just want to go home." he said.

Parker tied the strip around his wrist, charming it into a thick watchband and then tied one to Arianna's wrist at all. He'd let her glamour it later into whatever she wanted to. He nodded to Sebastian's thanks, not putting any more emphasis on it than needed, and then sighed. "First thing tomorrow," he agreed, stroking Ari's hair.

"I think we've said enough," he admitted with a little groan, adjusting his child's weight in his arms. "Anything else and we'll be going in circles."
