The Seven Basic Plots @ Wikipedia
- Comment as each individual character with one (or more) of the seven basic plots in mind for them, and how it translates to that individual (the "monster" they're fighting is an addiction, for example).
- Think about their friends, family, mutation(s), age and career - or even their education, romantic relationships, role within Xavier's, or their life outside of the school. Issues, grudges, hopes, dreams, goals - all of it!
- Reply anywhere you see something you could help progress or benefit from! Let's make this happen!

I'm just going to start typing and you guys can comment with info/updates on characters so we can all get things straightened out. Oui? Sweet.
Kiernan - owns a chain of restaurants, one in Westchester. Probably fondue places. Just swap out Burger Joint for his fondue dream. lol Also, recently married and expecting twins! He lives with Rhia and his brothers, cousin and sister (yes?). Since the school was destroyed by some anti-mutant terrorists or some shit (or aliens? I dunno), he lives in the city to be near the school where his son from his first (almost-)marriage attends - a Stark-owned building that Stark Industries and the X-Men revamped to function as a temporary Xavier's. Rhia works at the school's new library.
Morgan - He may or may not be hanging out with Ronan's "S.P.E.A.R." company, which exists mainly to pee in the eye of Nick Fury and previous SHIELD agents. There may be a "S.W.O.R.D." on the horizon, which would be awesome and he'd totally be down for monitoring alien threats with petty crime on the side.
(If we do aliens - we could tie in the Chitauri attack, Netflix's Daredevil continuity, Guardians of the Galaxy/Nova, Ms. Marvel, and even Brian's/Excalibur's cosmic-themed aspects.)
Eva -I'm thinking about having her be a nun. Yes - I know - I play Aurora. But her Mexican past, missing mother and do-gooder/humanitarian values are sort of making me want to have her raised in a Catholic group home in Mexico. Mutation erupts, gets sent to Xavier's, then a tech school after taking her vows, gets big ideas, turns into "I'm not a regular nun, I'm a cool nun". Gonna keep the nursing background, too. She might be on the verge of renouncing her vows, since her faith is shaken (aliens, wtf?) and her focus has been more on robotics/patients than God. Plus, having Thor around is sort of a deal breaker on the Jesus front. Thoughts? Oh, and I guess Steve would just be her roommate - goodness-of-the-heart sort of situation. >_> She's a deaf army retiree.
Brian - He's beyond ready to start having Arthurian flashbacks and powers' surges and conflicted feelings and vices. Craaazy pants.
Troy - I think he's still going to do dark things, but I don't think it needs to be hinged on Piotr/Tory having a baby. That could go out the window. Tory may or may not stick around, in that case. Sorta done with that whole arc, but I still want to write dark!Troy. He may need some booty calls, for the record. >_> Just sayin'.
Kurt - if we do something with aliens, he wants to be all up in their business. And I'm going to have him tagging along for any Excalibur adventures, so the more bonding with Betsy/Piotr/Kitty/Brian/Meggan/Alison, the better.
Alison - She still has her eye on the Cookie Monster, but also would like to actually do some good work - so she's totally down to help Brian off his ledge or whatever their job is. <--- Her words, not mine. Also, Excalibur perk: Asian!Betsy. Mmm. ;)
Scott - Aliens?! Oh God, the Phoenix. O_O This could lead to all sorts of fun stuff, especially since Rob wants to play Peter Corbeau (ala Taika Waititi), he who delivers Jean to the Phoenix. lol I think there was also talk of Rachel. I really want to write this stuff, y'all. Bad. Scott never gets the excitement he deserves, and Jean's been in deathlimbo for months. lol

| BASICS Full Name: Codename / Aliases: Black Widow / Natalie Rushman, Madame Natasha, Nancy Rushman, Laura Matthers, Nadine Roman, "Oktober", Black Pearl, Ebon Flame. Nicknames: Tasha, Nat. Age / Birth Date: 30 / July 30th, 1984. Marital Status: Widow. Ethnicity: Eastern European (Russian). Occupation: Avenger. Superhuman Abilities: Natasha has received the Red Room's variant of the Super-Soldier Serum. Personality: Quick with a quip or and eye roll, very few people outside of the Avengers have seen anything close to the true Natasha - or at least what is left of her. She's often cold, guarded, and known to tell a lie or two - so getting to know her his difficult. Natasha is determined, resilient, disciplined, and independent but works well with others. But unfortunately she has plenty of baggage that also makes her dismissive, aggressive, and disconnected from others. Appearance: She has very thick lips, a heart-shaped face, wide eyes and a round nose that give her a very youthful and girlish appearance, which is a strong contrast to her personality and attitude on a daily basis. She wears lots of black, but isn't afraid of color - especially not for her work. |

Marital Status: Ethnicity: Swiss/German(Jew). Occupation: Geologist, and metallurgist for Stark Industries. Superhuman Abilities: See: Magneto, but with a reversed polarity - and slightly unstable. Personality: Dry. Lorna is very subtle and to the uninformed probably boring on the outside. But mostly that's the thick layer of jade that has formed of her work/sleep rinse/repeat lifestyle. Lorna loves to help people and promote causes that she feels passionate about - and will especially if she's having one her manic days. Appearance: While her hair used to be green, exclusively, she's discovered that it can change sometimes just depending on her mood. Generally green, blue, and red. Her style is something she likes to call nerd-slacker-chic, with a lot of layering and random jewelry. |

Superhuman Abilities: Precognition: Ability to perceive the future. It may be expressed in vague dreams while asleep, other times it can be clear and can occur at will. It may also be used as a form of "danger sense" to show the user that they are being threatened and from what direction it is coming from. Telekinesis: the ability to manipulate and control objects with the mind, often in ways not visible to the naked eye. Personality: Will's a diva, he likes the spotlight and he likes it bright. He will often times make himself the center of attention, even when he's not thinking about it. He's a natural leader, entertainer, and caretaker - and might try to do all three to someone if they aren't ready. Appearance: Mysteriously!ethnic - dark hair, dark eyes, wide features, and able to Aladdin on Broadway. Personality: Nerdy to a fault and always up for a good laugh - Dom is the human embodiment of an episode of Futurama or The Venture Bros. He's friendly, helpful, and always willing to lend a hand. Appearance: He'd like to count his boyish good looks as a defining trait... and he does. His eyes are bright blue while his nose is a bit on the large side and he has a smile that can disarm most situations. Psychically, Dominic compensates for his incredibility geeky lifestyle by overusing the gym - he doesn't like to brag, but he's sculpted like a Greek statue. He usually wears his trademark glasses (his, not Harry Potter's) and even carries a snap-on cover to make them sunglasses. Superhuman Abilities: He's not human, he's Asgardian - but he's powerful even for an Asgardian. Strength, speed, durability, flight, and weather control. Personality: Imagine a puppy - a huge, lovable, good natured, playful, excitable puppy. While he's been around for a long time, he's done a lot of maturing in the few years and but still has some room to grow in that area. Marital Status: Single. Ethnicity: Irish-American. Occupation: Captain America: The First Avenger. Superhuman Abilities: Captain America has no superhuman powers, but through the Super-Soldier Serum and "Vita-Ray" treatment, he is transformed and his strength, endurance, agility, speed, reflexes, durability, and healing are at the zenith of natural human potential. Personality: He's just a kid from Brooklyn - nice, wholesome, friendly, and generally just happy to be there. But if something important has to be done, from saving the world - to putting together a bookcase, he's your man for the job. He's a leader and rebel, despite the fact he's wrapped in the American flag, he's always ready to stand up for the little guy. Appearance: 6'3" and built tough, Steve's was literately made to be a physical specimen. Superhuman Abilities: Iron Man's primary powers come from his various armored suits that are powered by the arc reactor embedded in his chest. But the genius behind said suits, that's all Tony. Personality: As supremely narcissistic and narcotic as one person can be while being a decent human being. Appearance: Not the tallest Avenger, but not the shortest. Tony is fit, well-styled, and rarely unclean. If you see someone you has facial hair trimmed with a laser level and causal clothes on that still cost more than your best outfit... it's probably Tony. |
