"Kissing," he agreed with much less fight than he normally let her suggestions sail by with - a habit leftover from his days as Eva's instructor, then hand. Nathaniel's head lowered to meet Eva's and their hair mingled while his large, oddly-shaped lips met her lovely, perfectly sculpted mouth.
A warmth grew from between them, Nathaniel being extra sensitive to it, considering his dual roles of the god of shadows and king of Helheim. Nate understood it was much more than just their closeness, Eva's skin - her entire body radiated with an unfamiliar heat. But the mystic was sure it was perfectly normal for the Goddess of Motherhood. Regardless, the sensation caused his arms to pull Eva ever so closer.
"Family dinner then Jol will be fine..." he nuzzled into her cheek. "Let me speak to Brayden first," Nate requested unnecessarily. Eva understood better than anyone the boy's interesting relationship with his father. "He'll be fine," again Nate spoke unnecessarily - she knew; he knew.
Nathaniel had other questions... too many questions - it was his nature. But right now he had a one-track mind. "Can we... lay?" he asked with an awkward smile. "Just lay down?" He wanted to hold her and maybe drift off into a happy slumber.
