I had a man in every town Who: Em and Tony Where: Em's penthouse apartment When: Monday afternoon What: Tony's tinkering with security and stuff; Emma's humouring him. Warnings: Unlikely, we'll see.
"You know, we have a security desk in the lobby."
They did. And there were cameras and guards. The door needed a key or buzzer to enter and the penthouse needed opening for anyone to get in. Not to mention she was a telepath who did near constant sweeps of her home when she was alone. But none of that seemed to matter at this exact moment, since Tony was de-gutsing her current system.
"Am I still going to have hot water tonight? And electricity? I'm not sure I'd be able to carry you down the stairs if you electrocute yourself, dear."
She hadn't quite expected this when she'd told him to come over, since they'd both taken the day or so from work to just try and de-stress, she'd thought some company, maybe order in dinner, some company. Not rewiring her home, regardless of how delightful the view was when he was hunched over.
