Once again, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Stark has mismanaged our tax dollars on yet another act of terrorism upon a peaceful nation. Citing evidence on as solid ground as the Bush administration had in invading Iraq, Stark made a scapegoat of Latveria, using the recent alien attack on New York as a pretext for his attack. Just as the Iraq invasion failed to reveal any of the supposed 'weapons of mass destruction' (we would have been better off looking for such weapons in Stark Industries to begin with...), Stark, known the world over as Iron Man has failed, yet again as Director in leading S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers into this mess.
Does anyone remember when the Avengers were loved? Admired?
Certainly such notions are a thing of the past.
In failing to find the perpetrator on the attack on New York in Latveria (big surprise!), Stark has been made to apologize publicly to the benevolent Monach, Victor Von Doom, and to compensate him for the damages wrought to his castle and defense forces. In the aftermath of this uncalled for attack, which narrowly avoided starting a war, one has to question if Stark not only used what happened in New York as an excuse for his invasion, but whether he manufactured the whole event himself. Let us not forget that this is, after all, the same man that killed Captain America.
As we wait for more information to come out about this attack, remember to continue petitioning the United Nations General Assembly and the U.S. Commission on Superhuman Activities for the removal of Stark as Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and his arrest as a war criminal.
