This had been unexpected.
Bella Donna had come all the way to the school to dispose of Remy, but she had somehow ended up roped into some escapade with Rogue, whom she was pretty sure had quite the history with the Cajun. Had she lowered her guard? She didn't think so. She had arranged a meeting with him, but the time and place were still unclear. Maybe this was for the best, maybe if she spent more time with a friend of Remy she would be able to put his mind more at ease, make it easier for her to deal with him without the complications that facing Gambit would usually entail.
But maybe if she got to see the kind of people that Remy spent his time with she would feel her determination falter. Falter even more, actually. No, no, she told herself. This was for her Guild, for her family. It was her honor, even though the word had started to lose its meaning ever since Remy was exiled. Who she was loyal to? She would have to find an answer to that by the time she faced him. But for now, she was actually excited to meet this Rogue person; Bella itched for some female friendship, as her female friends from back home were usually terrified of her, or of her brother, of her entire family. Finally meeting someone that didn't know who she was (even if she would find out eventually, considering what she had in mind) was exciting, and Bella would allow her mind to leave the more serious thoughts for later.
So there she was, waiting in the front lawn of the school, dressed to impress: it was all mostly black, from the long, thing riding leather boots, jeans with embroidered golden patterns that glimmered in the night to the t-shit and the jacket that fitted her snugly. Bella knew how to show off her figure, and she wasn't holding back. Looking down at the delicate golden watch on her wrist she checked the time; 7:59. Better see if this lady of adventure had a sense of punctuality, too.
