Zap smiled down at the man (who was winded and sweating) and then leaned forward to pat his bare thigh. "Up and at 'em," she told her husband. "Your parents are going to be here in ten minutes and I don't want to miss greeting them." She'd already dressed, of course, still basking in the glow of her pre-party romp with Nate. "Do you want me to get you anything? Inhaler?" she smirked wickedly and fondly at the newer god. "I... am nervous," she shared as she turned and began to fix the flowers Qiana had insisted upon into her hair. "Not so much for me," she felt she was likable enough... "but for them to enjoy the party and for something to not go horribly wrong..." As things did. "But a little for me." Eva was, after all, their daughter-in-law now, and she'd yet to meet them. There was a stamp of approval to be earned.
In the mirror where she worked, Zap spied Nate's reflection as he attempted to hoist himself out of bed and she grinned with affection. "I'm so lost in you..." Her hands had gone still, held aloft with a white flower in the left hand. Right, flowers. She sighed to catch her breath and focused on her work.
"I hope they like me more than my dad likes you," the queen chuckled, teasingly. Perhaps the Zales would follow in Brayden's footsteps. Besides, Thor liked Nate. Or at least loved him. That was better than like, right? Things were going to be fine.
