Her mouth hung open, both impressed and amused at his utterance about a planning board. Their mutual, comforted sighs were music to her ears. "You know how much I love setting a challenge," she countered, "but I like surprises even more." That last bit was praise for a job well done. He moved away from her and she held her cool but she really wanted to just follow his movements and stay in their embrace. Oh right, his dramatic flair. Mustn't be snuffed.
When she was reeled in via her belt, Zap's hands landed on Nate's bulky upper arms and she kissed him soundly in return with all the giddiness she felt since stepping foot in their sanctuary. "Your Hand game is off," she accused. He was supposed to persuade her from making bad choices, she thought with a smirk, then pulled him back in for a kiss that involved some tongue.
Top drawer...? She broke their kiss and glanced at the dresser belatedly as if it would be see-through, but took his word for it that there was chocolate in 'them thar hills'. "You delicious, evil man." Two sorcerers and a sack load of chocolate waiting to be melted... what a night they could've had. "I really do love you..." Zap snuck a kiss at his exaggerated Adam's apple and then nuzzled her nose under his soft throat. "You smell different," she accused. "Don't freak out," was her next, preemptive statement, "it's different - but good." Maybe it was just that he smelled like work? Heh. Or maybe it was the odor of Helheim clinging to his clothing. The queen gave her lover an encouraging smirk and began, by hand, to remove his top coat. "Come lay down," she ordered, "I have to get back to Thor - we were supposed to have a talk," eesh, she'd been impossible to live with, "but we can relax for a little while..."
