"I'll come with you." she said quickly to Constantine who was going to check beyond the border of the castle.
A (very intimidating) sea goddess had come onto the scene and was quickly turning the place into a public swimming pool and Frankie didn't see much point in remaining to watch. She kept her staff at the ready in case there were any stragglers who didn't want to be ruled by a new king. Her eyes scanned the darkness in front of her, she didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Her thoughts drifted back to Helheim and her bed. That's where she would end up, even though her body was technically asleep at that very moment.
Lamia had followed the group from where they'd appeared on the Bifrost. It had been difficult for her not to jump in and latch onto the girl right then, but it wouldn't have been possible with the other magic users around her. While the battle had raged on, Lamia had received a vision of what was to happen. Where her prey would end up, so she could position herself correctly to attack. She saw the woman leave the battle and move outside of the protection of the castle walls, it was time. The woman had separated herself from the taller form of the man she was scouting with and Lamia slithered in behind her, moving quickly and silently to avoid detection from him.
"Do you think we should-" Frankie stopped mid-sentence as a feeling of dread washed over as she felt a presence at her back. When she began to turn around, she felt powerful arms wrap around her and the feeling of a tongue on her neck, before something bit into her and then moved into her. Panic seized her before her mind went blank.
The man was turning to look at the young woman and Lamia finished the question Frankie had started. "Go look for stragglers?" she asked, turning to look at the man. Oh, he was a handsome one, wasn't he?
