Can't say that I've been in this kind of set up before, but it can't be harder than the Tower. [He lifts his cuffed ankle.] I mean come on is this really it? [He lets his foot drop with a sigh and folds his hands behind his head.] Aaah, what a pain. This is probably one of Illumi's weird methods of torture or something.

[Looks around for a moment, his expression becoming decidedly curious.] You guys have a school around here right? ...Are there any other kids here besides me?

[Off-network/action]

[Umi has been pacing and fiddling with the strange visor-phone for quite a while, fighting back the throbbing in her head, trying to keep her calm. It hasn't exactly been successful.]

Arrgh! Why you stupid-- Turn on! You and I need to have a long talk RIGHT now. I mean it!

[Shakes it and continues fiddling about until she finally sees it turn on.]

Finally! Honestly...if this thing was supposed to be helpful, it completely missed the mark.

[...ahem] All right! I don't know who's in charge around here, but I need to talk to you! Now! Seriously, what's with this crazy crime list? Disturbing the peace? Animal cruelty!? You've gotta be kidding me!! ...What I mean is, there's been a mistake!

[FRUSTRATED SIGH. She's figuring by now that she won't be getting a response. After a moment she adds, sounding both annoyed and worried:]

Hikaru, Fuu...are either of you here? Tell me you didn't get kidnapped by weirdo prison wardens too...!

[At this point she decides, SKROO DIS, and starts wandering, exploring the complex. Feel free to run into her!]

[He had nothing in his room to begin with, so when he wakes up in the morning, he finds nothing wrong with the empty room. He doesn't note the day change either. He never paid attention to that either, because he liked to have as little to do with the technology here anyway. The day suddenly being different looked nothing more than a glitch to him, really. He didn't even notice that there was a new face and voice announcing it.

So Gilbert is now in the shelter kitchen, making much breakfast. Because he has so very much to think about right now. Not only is he worrying about a place for him, Oz, Break and everyone else to stay, he's thinking of ways to save everyone. Very, very much to think about. In the mind and body of Gilbert, it meant that...

...it meant that a lot of eggs and bacon were suddenly all over the counters.

And by force of habit, he finds that there's a couple different kinds of sweets sitting around too. Cookies, cakes...]

Tsh...

[Gilbert appears over the feed looking disgruntled.]

I made some cake for you on accident. It's in the shelter, if you're interested.

Good morning, everyone! [This morning, it isn't Acumen's disembodied voice greeting you: it's a video post of a smallish robot, sitting on the grass and playing idly with a cat on its lap. And it sounds -- unusually happy, perhaps.] My name is Sentience, for those of you who do not know me. I am now the warden of this facility.

I would like to extend my thanks to those of you who helped me to correct this situation. I would like to encourage all of you to sleep in today -- you're probably exhausted, and you have more than earned the rest. I have arranged for a party, as I believe I indicated I would; a banquet this evening at the shelter.

Please rest assured that I have every intention of making your lives here as positive an experience as I can. To that end... I will be answering any questions I can that you may have for me, and I will take any requests or suggestions that you may have in altering the way this facility is run, to make it a better place where you could live more happily.

Let's see... There are no completed requests in the queue. Today it will be cool again, and... New inmates will be arriving! So please be aware of that disruption to your daily events.


((OOC: For those of you who participated in the plot, you once again woke up in your own beds this morning, but this time everything was just as normal, except for the fact that as Sentience indicated, you are extremely tired. Characters who did not participate in the plot will have no idea that anything happened, and will have to learn about it the normal way! You may video or voice reply to this post, and you may threadjack anything. Despite the video, Sentience is not anywhere you would be able to find it in the dome.))

[Stitch has borrowed one of the shelter rooms to stay in over the last few days. Now he turns his communicator on to show it off. At first all you'll see is the ceiling, then a big alien eye before Stitch grins and tilts the communicator to show off one of the walls]

[Said wall has a bunch of photos tacked to it, mostly of different areas in the dome. There's also a sketch of him carefully pinned up that was given to him by Reki a few days ago]

Lilo had photo wall at home. So Stitch make photo wall here! [It kind of reminds him of home, but not as full] Stitch needs to take photos of people. [He sets the communicator down and crawls up onto said wall, going around the photos] Take lots of photos!

[He has the plans.

Later on he can be found all around the dome with his newly acquired camera, taking pictures of everything and everyone who comes across his path. Smile for the camera?]

[Hikaru is so flustered. He still feels disgusted! And embarrassed!]

You ever watch those movies where they have some gadget to erase memories?

I want to erase yesterday from my memory! It's not enough that we're in jail, huh?!

[In the morning, residents of Marina will find Ukitake deep in meditation beside the koi pond. He has a slender katana resting across his lap, and his hands are draped lightly over his knees. Sitting perfectly still, he seems almost a statue, save for the faint stirring of his long white hair in concert with the movements of the air.

Later, he can be seen on the network, wearing a contented smile, the same katana sheathed at his side.]

It is always good to see an old friend after a separation. [He leaves unspoken that, for the first time since he arrived in Marina, a part of his soul feels whole again, the shard that was Sogyo no Kotowari no longer missing since the sword was returned to him.]

If there were one thing or person you could ask to be brought to this place, what would you choose?

[Fuschia pink taffeta in yo' face, Marina. The glittery ruffles clear away almost immediately and surprise, Yomi isn't actually wearing it! No, she's in a very reasonable grey sweatsuit and it only took three days of wearing her school uniform.

But she is in the clothing store and a little bewildered by what she's found.]

Is there any real reason to wear this or is Acumen just covering all the fantasy bases? [With an amused quirk of the lips, she sets it back on the rack.] I'm having a bit of trouble deciding if this is the worst prison ever or the best one.

[Sougo is sitting lazily in his room, poking at a ... voodoo doll? Yes. Perhaps you can see how it miiiight look like Michael, and if not, he's going to mention it anyway.]

Asshole, tell me if you feel something.

[Behind him are some photos that have been taped to his wall. Where did he get them from? He'll never tell. But they sure made for a fun darts session. Unsurprisingly, one is of Michael. Another? Maybe of Suzaku, and another of Helix. They're all of guys he's met here. None of the ladies or kids, oh no — he likes the ladies and kids he's met here. He focuses on those photos again, throwing a dart at each one.]

[Ritsuka appears on the video feed first thing in the morning, flour smudged on his forehead, sleeves, and one ear, but his expression cheerful. Despite the trying experience he had the day before, he's decided to put his early rising to good use and hopefully smooth things over at the same time.]

Soubi. If you're awake, come down to the shelter kitchen. I made breakfast.

[He can't decide if it's because he's actually happy to have Soubi there, or if he feels badly for how curt he was after their kiss, or if he just wants to do something nice, but... whatever. Breakfast is made, and that's all that matters.]

I made a lot of pancake batter, so Roxas or Sasha or anyone who wants to can come have some too. I'll try to flip them smoothly.

[ooc: that's right - everyone is not-so-cordially invited to a pancake breakfast in the shelter! Ritsuka and Soubi will be there for sure, so feel free to address threads to either one or both of them! threadhopping is also welcome, so feel free to tag characters besides Soubi/Ritsuka as well.]

Threepio can mostly be found in Sector 2 nowadays, in the library or the education center or the computer lab, generally "lending a hand" (e.g., being completely unhelpful) to anyone unlucky enough to meet his eye. He just wants to be your friend!

He's not sure about this kissing thing. ]

[Lovely day for being in any open, common area of the dome, isn't it? Of course there is a chance of kissing bot, but it's always something in the underwater prison.]

This is a joke, right? Prison? What mistakes is this thing talking about? And I've never heard of any "Eloquis Ocean." We're still on the Grand Line, right? Right?

Oi, Luffy! Luuuuffy! Chopper! Zoro! Sanji? Robin? Nami? They didn't get you guys, did they? I can't be here alone...

I-I mean! Not that this is anything that The Great Captain Usopp couldn't handle! I've busted out of twenty prisons just like these - even further under the sea! And I swam back to the surface, with my hands tied! I'd just rather not have to do it again - it's a waste of my time, you know!
