Thank god all those people are gone. This place is crowded enough without Acumen going haywire. This is the second time it's done that. First monsters, and then accidental arrests - the robot is totally losing its touch.

So. [ she sounds cheery! beware ] Name something you hate about this place. [ she's just full of positive thinking ] I can't be the only one that can't stand Marina.

[Good afternoon, Marina~ ♥ The grinning face on the communicator has something of great import to say to you all!]

Mmm, has everyone here heard of a boy called Elliot Nightray? Blue eyes, sandy hair, very loud and impolite? If you have business with him, you might want to get it done now, because I'm not sure he'll be in any condition to receive guests later.

He needs a little black to add onto all that blue. [A pause. And then that smile shifts from cheerful to knowing] I think there'll be some entertainment in a little bit, if anyone would like to watch~ ♫

[If there's any confusion at all to what he might be referring to, perhaps the backdrop of the dojo might help clarify?]

ACTION
[If you wander by the dojo, you might see Break, lazily swinging his temporary cane, pilfered from the convenience store, and waiting for the youngest Nightray to show up and make good on his promise. There might also be a mop-haired boy with glasses, and perhaps a small blonde boy.

What a sense of honor Elliot has, waiting until the restraint was removed from Break's ankle for their spar. Too bad Break doesn't share much of that same honor.]

((ooc: Replies via video will be from Break and can be posted directly to the post, action is mingle-style; feel free to tag around, make bets on who will win, gossip, popcorn.gif, network, whatever!

If you wanna call him out for the cake fight or anything from 4th wall, you're welcome to do that here as well!))

[Boredom was catching up to him again and he didn't like it. Just sitting around was not something that he liked doing and he wanted to remedy that. So today, he decides he is going to do something about it.

So when he set out he had a mission in mind. To find someway to amuse himself with. He heads to a sparsely populated area for a bit of privacy. He has no one in particular in mind, but he will take what he can get if someone comes his way. Hopefully, he will strike gold]
The 129th Day
22 August 2011 at 05:22 pm
Good morning, inmates. It is the 129th day of the third generation.

I have managed to restore my communication faculties. I am sorry for being unavailable yesterday. The confusion with the extraneous inmates is regrettable, however, no permanent damage was done, and no inmates were harmed. The inmates who arrived yesterday were not processed and so they were not properly extricated from their timelines, and as such, they were able to be returned until their data is properly collected and their trials are held. Rest assured that should they be settled once again in their native dimensions while awaiting trial, they will have no recollection of their time here.

The system will be available for requests once more.

[Goodness knows the communicator has caused her no end of puzzlement. And the robots, with their scuttling about and their activity, have made her step back more than once. This is far too much for an 18th century girl to fully understand.

Still, she needs to ask someone and this communicator seems to be the right way so.]

If anyone sees an owl - a white barn owl, that is - could I trouble you to inform me? He should come to the name Osca. I'm afraid he's either gotten lost or... well, I suppose he might be held somewhere. Still, if anyone does see him, all I ask is that you let me know. If he is well, he will return to me in time.

[With that, she sighs out softly.]

At least this place starts with a map...

[ with the cafeteria finally cleaned out of the gunk that is xerxes break's mess, there's one (1) silver-haired girl who is sitting at one of the tables, humming while pouring tea for her company: a little white stuffed rabbit. on the table are several more cups, set out for how many guests, and stacks of cakes and cookies as if she's expecting quite a few people to come along and join her.

but if you may notice, with that wide smile dancing on her lips, there's something off with her. of course, that may just be you :)

and when she turns around and notices you -- her smile widens, holding a hand out.
]

Won't you join me for tea?

[After the cake fight, Gilbert thoroughly retreated to his room. He spent a while thinking, then decided he needed to figure out who all was here. So he turns on the video, then pauses for a moment... He might not know everybody so he should say something that most people from his world would know about.]

How many people here are in association with the Abyss or Pandora?

[Private to Oz Vessalius]

I need to talk to you, Oz.

Annoying human toys.

[Even if he's always wanted to be one. A pair of dark ears flick within the screen of the camera as the device is tossed to the ground. It's useless and irritating to wear on his ears.]

Noisy.

[He leaps up into a tree and out of view, a small bell chiming to accompany the movement. He remembers this place. He'll simply wait for one of those over-sized human made creatures to get answers from. And possibly take his frustrations out upon. Unless something more interesting catches his eye...]

[ cue one Break ]

[ cue one Break with cake ]

[ cue one Break WITHOUT cake what blasphemy ]

[ sadly, Break does not like this division of power even if he's not wearing a chain. Actually, scratch that. It's only what he deserves for having all the cake in the dome at his fingertips which, shortly, will be remedied. Leaning over, un-chained Break snags a dainty little sugar coated thing from the top of the pile. ]

[ Break (the one with cake), despite being blind, feels that sneaky, sneaky hand approaching his precious cake, and in a fit of rage jealousy POSSESSION reaches out his hand (the one not currently occupied with a frosting-covered fork) and flicks this intruder who has so callously tried to steal his cake. ]

Ah ah! Get your own cake.

[ unfortunately (for the both of them), Break's aim is a little off today and instead of hitting the cake thief, he instead ends up hitting the precious plate of cake, sending a fat slice of cake (chocolate with whipped cream frosting and dainty little strawberries) flying into the face of the nearest person ]

[ fjdkskakl ] What the hell are you doing?! [ Fou turns, wiping chocolate frosting off her face and looking more then a little pissed as she leans over to give the nearest Break a kick in the face. Unfortunately, Break's reflexes are superb and he more then easily steps to the side. It's too bad really. All that cake is flying through the air as Fou's foot lands on the table. Such a waste... ]

((ooc: Everyone is welcome to join in the cake fight! Or just be an innocent bystander. Mingle, threadjack, laugh at the mess... anything goes. purple = Marina's Break, blue = 4th Wall Break, Green = Fou ))

[ she's been spending much time observing the communicator since she's arrived, refraining from appearing until now to gather as much information as she needs (though really, the brochure that came along with the basket is already more than helpful). but at least now, she knows who to expect to react when she decides to show up. ]

My, my.

[ lottie smiles malevolently widely, crossing one leg over the chained one and leaning forward to the camera. behind her is a familiar view of the park. ]

So I suppose even pretty girls get chained up even before they get to do anything. How terribly unforgiving.

But I do wonder now what I'm being chained for. [ she tilts her head slightly to one side, her smile now lopsided. ] Big Sis hasn't committed anything gruesome since 100 years ago after all. [ a pause. and then -- ]

I know! Why don't we play a game of 20 questions? Perhaps Big Sis will find out the reason that way. [ she giggles. ] And perhaps more.

[He's heard the welcome message, tugged at the chain at his leg, and overall has a relatively good understanding of just what is going on.

He is far from pleased.]

You know, it's really not very nice to chain someone up when they haven't done anything wrong.

[Hullo, Marina. There is a white-haired man dressed in a nightgown - he was oh so rudely yanked out of bed - staring down from the communicator. It had taken him a few minutes to puzzle it out, but he's confident he's gotten the hang of it now.]

But!

[Here he smiles, looking quite a bit more pleased than a man just thrown in prison ought to be.]

If you bring me some cake, I'm sure I can forgive you~ ♥

I'll be keeping the fishies company in the meantime. [And figure out just what is occurring here.]

[ despite his disheveled appearance (and please ignore the slight hint of a bloodstain on his collar or the dirty, ragged robe stuffed into the bushes behind him), Oz has a bright, charming smile plastered on his face. He's never seen a device that could transmit sound and pictures before, but the pamphlet was highly informative for someone like Oz who, well, was just used to learning from books. ]

Oh, this is new. I've never seen such an invention before. I bet it comes in really useful when you need to find someone like my servant! You haven't seen him have you? He's tall, wears a hat and he just loves playing with cats.

[ cheeky grin. Come on Gilbert, prove him wrong if you dare! ]

[ There they were.

The words Touma dislikes hearing the most first thing in the mornings; especially on mornings where he has yet to be awake and have coffee first.

"...more inmates will be integrated into the facility."

Yeah, he knows, Acumen. He is aware of the "disruption". ]

Okay, Marina newcomers, listen up. There are two questions that come up a lot, and I can answer both for you right away.

Number one: if you're hungry, you can walk toward the center of the dome. You can't miss it, there's a damn clock tower there. You find your way down into the Shelter and-- [ With more directions here. ] --you'll end up in the kitchen. There are robots there. They will make you food. All kinds of food, too. It's not the best, but there's no use complaining.

Number two! If you're just itching to yell at the warden, you can find a little booth nearby just for that. Just punch up "kiosk" on your headset -- don't ask me how, it's in your guides -- and follow the directions. Lodge all your complaints and questions about how everything here is unfair and you don't deserve to be here, yadda yadda.

[ Believe it or not, he actually thinks he's being quite helpful, despite his disinterested tone. Finally, he sighs, and the volume fades as he pulls the headset away from his ear before he shuts it off. ] Ahh, whatever. I'm going back to bed. G'luck...

[ Click goes the feed. But he's only gone for a moment before he's back, and more irritated. ]

Oh! And the wise-asses who submitted those fake roommate applications? Real helpful, you guys. Classy work.

[ Click; for reals this time. ]
