[It's been over a day since he was found in the snow, and after a full day of rest at the hospital, his headache was mostly gone and the full range of his arm had almost returned. He still wasn't sure what had happened, but he... knew things now.

They had all... died for him.

He wasn't certain how he was supposed to feel about that.

But that was no reason to continue hiding. He had to leave the house sometime and after the headache had faded, the nausea had as well. Hei was nearly famished for food. So, wrapped up in his coat and a scarf, Hei's walking to the ramen stand. Food first, then groceries. But... flicking on his network device, Hei clears his throat.]

I, uh... What do you know about regaining memories you... don't remember having? I seem to have acquired some.

[His smile is embarrassed. He feels like he should know these answers already from previous examples, but none of it made any sense, still.]

[A put-upon sigh escapes before she resumes her regular impassiveness. No sense in getting worked up, not yet if she can do something-- flicking out a knife, she intends to try just that.

Even if she could have still used her more effective against this sort of thing fonic artes, there was too much risk while in a confined space with another anyway]

[Ignoring him~~kind of~~, she crosses over to an edge of the barrier where the ground is mostly bereft of snow and, after kneeling down, she digs in it a little with the knife. The small, new hole under the field stays open for a beat, before it snaps down-- she jerks her hand back instinctively, but the blade stays caught snugly between the two. Stares for a few beats before letting out a breath]

...Like I thought. [Sigh. Not something she'd want to use her fingers testing out] Now, that that route's been tried--

[A prompt "kiss!" from the machine earns it a rather baleful glare~~and not just for the eerie timing~~]

[Hei, being Li, obviously has no sense of self-preservation as he's peering over Tear's shoulder at the hole she was digging. Yes, that did tell him one thing. There was no use escaping by that route, which means the one above them was likely sealed as well.]

What were you trying-- [Distracted by that same "Kiss!" prompt as Tear.]

It wants us to kiss?

You weren't here yet when they ran around before? [Not that it really matters now it's clear what the point is. Though the concern is that they're stuck, she can't help but gripe inwardly that the woman who made these had extremely bad taste.

Getting up suddenly, she follows him over-- to avoid being pushed by the walls that begin to close in]
