[Anyone in the Educational Center this early? Arriving for a class, or maybe preparing for one that you teach? If so, you might hear music drifting down the hallways. It's the sound of a single piano, played inexpertly but without any audible mistakes in the notes. Someone has dragged his ball and chain over before chores begin to check out the school and has stumbled across the music room.

He's playing a simple arrangement of Ode to Joy, his head tilted back slightly and his eyes closed. It reminds him of Tokyo-3, of that first day of freedom from SEELE's headquarters - and of Shinji. His thoughts wander as he plays, and he's totally unaware of the world around him, so anyone who has come to listen will escape his notice until they speak up or otherwise make their presence known. But anyone who's met him before may notice that he looks more pensive than usual - maybe even sad? It's possible.]

[Tamaki hadn't been looking to meet anyone new this morning. Actually, he'd come here thinking that nobody else would be here so early, so he is surprised to hear someone else on the piano already. The music is good, though, and Tamaki vaguely remembers playing this for his mother once when he was little. The thought puts a smile on his face and he approaches the other boy.]

You're very good with the piano to be able to play that without anything to look at! That's Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, right?

	[Only pays slight attention to the frown before he sits and puts his focus on the question. It's never been in Tamaki's real abilities to put much thought into other people's emotions. Or his own, for that matter.] Mm, my mother was the one who taught me and she was sick most of the time when I was little and it made her happy to listen to me play. 	[Kaworu listens, his eyes closed and his fingers twitching against his knees, as though playing the notes himself. Once Tamaki's finished, he rests his fingers on the keys and starts to play it back to him, eyes still closed - it's slower, and he misses a few of the faster notes, but it's obviously the same melody.] I like that.
