Eh, this thing is pretty weird…

[The feed starts with the sound of a fairly ambiguous voice, slightly monotone from the extent heard. The woman (or man?) who’s voice this belongs to, lets out a sigh, and there’s a few scratches heard on the microphone, before it is situated properly on her head. ]

I talk in here? [ There’s a pause. ] Hello. My name is Haruhi, from class 1-A I guess that doesn’t make much difference right now…

I read through the pamphlet, but I had a question. I thought someone might be able to help. [ There’s a pause before she begins talking again. ] Where do we work here? We have to make a living somehow, after all.

…

... Ah, that’s it. This was pretty meaningless… [ And, soon enough, the feed cuts after a bit a fumbling around. ]

That was months ago for me. The last thing I remember is being at the airport with you so that we could see my mom before she went back to France. And you said you loved me. [Better to get this over with instead of putting it off. If she still feels the same way even though she's from much earlier, great. If not, he'd have to deal with it. Or something like that. He's lucky he's always got his dramatics to save him.]

[ Aaaah, crap. What does she even say? She can't do much of anything. This is all such a rush, such a wave of feelings that Haruhi has. She doesn't know how to interpret or even realize what the real emotions are.

And so, in spite of her confusion, she leans forward and takes one of his hands in her's, keeping her eyes locked on where they touch. She doesn't dare say anything; nothing she could say could even start to explain what she's feeling. ]

[Tamaki reaches into the pocket he has on the inside of his jacket and pulls out a little hair pin. There's an origami flower on it, that's a little sloppily made, but it's clear that a lot of effort went into it.]

I made this for you! I wasn't sure when you'd come so I made one everyday and carried it around so that I would always be prepared! [Yeah, he's cool like that. Making origami flower hair pins everyday for a girl who may or may not have shown up.]

Couldn't you just make one and keep it?

[ Either way, Haruhi takes the pin from him, since it is a nice sentiment. She clips it into her hair with ease, only just realizing what this gift probably meant.

This was a gift of love, from a boyfriend to a girlfriend. Tamaki made this for his girlfriend, not for her.

Still, she couldn't give it back now. Haruhi looks up to him with big, brown eyes, the pin off to the side of her hair. ]

Does it look okay?

[No, Haruhi. You're reading too much into his character development. He's still pretty much the same old Tamaki who has one of his top priorities as his Host Club and just does random nice things for girls. Especially when they're just generally his close friend.]
