[After daydreaming about his friends and getting lost, he ends up in Sector Four, deciding to go to the park. May be a while since he's still new. He's heard about the prom and knows people go with dates, and hopes they have fun. Maybe someone will need company if they have last-minute shopping to do. The feed shows a bright smiling face.]

Seems like the prom's gonna be fun. I bet lots of people are going. I wonder what everyone's gonna to wear to the prom? Hopefully no one embarrasses their dates.

[He's been keeping to himself ever since the 4th wall incident, but today is an exception. The entire dome will be offered a simple question.] What would you do if you were told the one thing you wanted most in life was unobtainable? What would you do to accomplish that goal? Would you be willing to give up everything?

[He's searching for them now. Kitty, Kisame--and his brother, too. He hasn't seen or heard from the shark-like nin for quite some time now. Could he have vanished like the others? Regardless, the young Uchiha is going to get some answers, no matter what it takes. First things first. He'll check the usual places that he's seen Kitty hanging around. She'll be easier to confront. The fact that he's stalling like a coward makes his insides twist, but he shoves down those traitorous thoughts for now. He'll get to Itachi, all in due time.]

Upon entering Sector 4, the very large tent that stands framed by the beach is quickly noticeable. Closer, one can see colors dancing upon the white sheets, like opalesque spires under the moving onyx sky. As you enter one of the wings of the tents, grass give way to wooden flooring, and chains of white blossoms and gold ribbons line the sides. The open dance floor in the center bids one to look up to whimsical white-gold lamps, balls of light dancing in seas of violet, blue, green and pink organza. The fabrics fall down pillars adorned with leaves and flowers. Tables set in white and gold with jewel toned flowers sit at the four wings surrounding the dance floor.

... but it is far too early to take a seat. Smile and greet your fellow attendee, take the hand of a friend, and dance to the music.



There are large tables with finger foods and punch (not spiked -- save it for the after-party!), and very little space near the walls (sorry, wallflowers! You won't get away so easily. ♥ )  After a large number of people are gathered together, Jeanne stands up on the small stage set to the side of the dance floor and taps on the microphone to get everyone's attention...

[in the last hour and a half or so before the prom begins, the Shelter is a mob scene of people getting ready: making last-minute adjustments to their ensembles, scurrying back and forth between friends’ rooms to exclaim over their outfits or lend a hand, or even trying to pull something together from scratch in a mad rush of post-procrastination. A white-and-gold-robed figure does her best to ford the chaos on her way up to one of the higher levels, watching everyone in fascination as she goes, giving little encouraging smiles those who seem distressed. She does try her best to stay out of the way of traffic, but that’s a bit difficult when she takes up so much of the corridor.]

[as she reaches the residence of a certain Commissar, the heat signature she can see inside confirms her suspicions: he’s stationary, with most likely no desire to move any time soon. Sighing, she raises a hand, holding that sleeve aside, and knocks sharply on the door, calling out in her best authoritative voice:]

Ciaphas, open this door! I know you’re in there.

[ A short while before the prom is scheduled to get underway, Minako and Orihime take up their posts: lurking at the main avenue into the prom, looking for their victims! The two girls are hanging around outside, looking for solo arrivals and third wheels that they can put together into couples for the big event! ]

[ If you wander too near them, you might hear them calling out to you -- or find them grabbing your arm -- or notice them dragging someone else over to you with big smiles on their faces. ]

[While most are getting ready for the prom, Ed has decided to be more mischievous and complete the misson that had been set out for her in previous days. The mission? To infiltrate the processing plant and escape with as much scrap metal as possible for the construction of the Ein-bot. So for anyone out and about in Sector one feel free to notice a child running around in bicycle shorts, no shoes that seems to be running from bush to bush and then stalking around the outside of the mysterious black building.]
