[The words are half muttered, and though he tries to keep his tone neutral, it's clear that the thought bothers Kamui. Acumen seems to be getting more and more stubborn, lately, and he doesn't like the idea of needing to prove anything to the AI.]

There aren't any new arrivals that still have their restraints on, are there?

[Stumbling into the Shelter kitchen while half-asleep isn't always a great idea, since it's too easy to make mistakes, such as the one about to happen. Otoha, still blinking sleep from his eyes, opens up a fridge and stares inside.]

Good morning, inmates. It is the 90th day of the third generation.

For those yet uninformed, there is now a new policy in place regarding the restraints placed on inmates when they are first incarcerated here, as the previous one has been deemed ineffective.

Restraints will only be removed before the end of the probation period if it is ultimately for the well-being and safety of the inmate in question. Sufficient and valid evidence for it must be presented to this system.
