[This time, when the monsters had arrived, Komui had been ready for them. All his machines were at the ready: net catchers, miniature bots to collect data, adorable scanning creatures. They were all set up in a few alleyways, near enough to each other that he should be able to hear the Capture Komurin's signal when it found something. He'd set it up so there should be a constant blip that would get louder as the monsters approach, but he must have miscalculated because it was completely silent...]

[Except for...]

[Huh. The makeup of the creatures must not be as expected because all the radio was picking up was a bit of static. And it's getting louder. And louder.]

What the. Hey, is anyone here using a 20 Hertz frequency? Drat, I was sure it'd be too low to pick up interference. Maybe --

[The static gets louder and louder, until...]

Wh-whoa! [And then the sounds of various mechanical things activating. Komui can no longer be heard, but the static remains, along with the roar of a very angry lizard.]

((OOC: Komui has accidentally made himself some radios straight out of Silent Hill! He'll be handing the monster-detectors out at a later date, but for now he's found out that his nets don't work that well. Defense Force or other heroes go? He'll also be answering voice though might be a bit frantic...))

( There is a Rei at the beach, sitting on one of the dunes near the water. )

[She looks up suddenly and glances around - did she hear someone approaching? - then disappears back into her mind when she doesn't spy anyone there.]

[Well, this was not how Jun expected to wake up. He feels fine--better than fine--except for one little detail. He picks up his communicator, but he's sure to be quiet--he doesn't know why Allen is curled up with him, but he's not going to wake him.]

[Naruto is currently slurping down ramen at the ramen shop, something he does...pretty much everyday actually. Things had been too crazy as of late so he was glad that things were finally settling down. He loves excitement and drama as much as the next person but disappearing food and dance parties aren't what he'd consider a good time.

He'd heard that Sasuke had returned but hadn't welcomed him back. Usually he'd be happy to push his presence on the Uchiha whether it was welcomed or not but it's not like he had to worry about Sasuke running away again while they were here. He'd just wait and see how things turned out.

Coming out of his thoughts he stares gloomily into his now empty bowl and considers asking for more.]

[ Suzaku is not embarrassed. no, really. he's totally comfortable. or at least, he's trying very very hard to project that as he comes into the classroom, flashing everyone a quick smile. moves over to the front of the room with what is obviously some uncertainty, then settles on the teacher's desk instead of sitting behind it. fingers laced together, he addresses the room. ]

All right. I guess we should start -- at the very beginning. Sex is a broad thing. There are lots of different ways to have it. It's even possible to have sex without taking off any of your clothes! [ this is meant to be interesting trivia to lighten the mood, and he gives everyone a bemused smile as he says it. ] And it's something that anyone can do... as long as you've got one or more people together, they can have sex.

[ Suzaku's lecture goes on in this way for a little while, and he covers the most basic parts -- sperm + egg = baby; you can have sex without having babies; etc. he covers gay sex as well as straight sex, and as implied above does specifically acknowledge the possibilities of threesomes and moresomes. ]

[Day two, but Midori tries not to think about that.]

[The skating rink is cooler than the rest of the facility, and she's grateful. There's very little rhythm or style to her movements, one long stride after another. She'll stop, turn, and continue.]

[Until her ankle wobbles and she falls on her knees, of course. A giggle, a roll of her eyes, and she's back up again, rolling her shoulders back as she returns to her laps.]

A shipment of blood has arrived, and the allotted refrigerator should be completely filled come mid-morning; convenience store shelves restocked with blood substitutes by this afternoon. I will consider altering the shipments and schedule in order to better prevent this from happening again.

[Kid had a little run in with the raptors last night. Kid's hair got clipped on one side of his head during the fight, and not the other. Kid is now crying over the network because of this fact, even though the difference isn't noticeable to anyone who doesn't hold a magnifying glass up to his hair.]
