[ Action | Open ] In the garden.

[After hearing about the incident with the welcome gift baskets, Sari was really, very glad she hadn't touched hers yet after going through the morning and afternoon routines that the bots put her through as a newcomer. Exercise was alright, if it weren't for the fact she had the ball and chain on, but that built up strength and stamina in her systems (maybe it would help increase her body mass faster? She didn't need upgrades the same way most other Transformers did). With a relieved sigh, she was in the garden and helping with the pruning and planting, since nature had been her friend Prowl's favourite place to be.

Leaning against the shovel she was using, she took the chance to look around at the others who were in the asylum.
]

This place doesn't seem so bad. [She said with a small bit of ease.]

[Ashura sat, waiting in the open, mild air of one of Marina's cafes. A small cup of coffee sat before him, the iced kind, with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles atop. So he had a sweet tooth, sue him. He sipped the icy treat as he watched the people wander by, shaking his head slightly now and then to make the ornaments in his hair jingle and chime.

His eyes kept scanning the crowd for one man in particular though - if man he really was. Not that that thought bothered him. In fact, it rather intrigued him. And Johnny was a wonderful conversationalist on top of it all, which made everything even more intriguing! He just hoped he'd picked an appropriate time for them to meet.

So he remained in his seat, sipping his drink and munching on little chocolate biscuits rolled up into little tubes from a basket.

If only he knew what Johnny liked to eat....]

[It sounds like someone has just run a marathon with the way he's breathing over there, although that eventually slows down to deeper, calmer breaths. There are a few moments of near absolute silence from his end until a pained sigh can be heard. A groan and a thump, presumably the sound of one sitting down heavily. The voice that follows is a bit high pitched, well used, and is very obviously British. A Cockney accent is evident.]

A-Ah dunno where Ah em, an' me 'ead is killin me summfink 'orrible.

[A pause. He begins to babble to himself, almost incoherently at first, before he calms down again.]

Inna prisin, yea? Wiff whales! Terrible whales they is. Do'phins is jus as bad! 'orrible, 'orrible do'phins...

[Another pause. When his voice returns, it is low and hoarse.]

Muds? If yer out 'ere...

[Nothing else can be heard. There is complete silence on the other end.]

Xion
[Xion is at the ice rink, and has been for quite some time. Saix told her Axel wasn't gone, so she isn't running off to try and find him. If Axel needs to be alone, needs it so much that he ran away...well...she has no right to go hunt him down. She's been trying to keep track of everything happening on the network like Saix asked her to, but skating is the only way to keep her mind off of Axel. But distracting herself with skating makes it hard to focus on the network. But if she focuses on the network she starts worrying about Axel and then she misses entire conversations! She's really...useless, isn't she?

So round and round the rink Xion goes, occasionally throwing in a simple spin, but she clearly isn't enjoying it like she usually does.]

Uchiha Itachi
[Itachi is avoiding people, particularly Sasuke. He doesn't want to deal with the possible loss of control over himself that can be caused by the man-made poison being leaked throughout the prison.

And so he is in the library. As he aged, he has read less, even more so once his vision began to decline. But he has found the visual translator on the communicator...and wondered if it would also read and translate books. Such a simple pastime would provide him an easy hour or two.

More's the pity that the library did not seem to carry scrolls on jutsu, but he should still be there for a while.]

Gino Weinberg
I don't mean to ruin everyone's fun tonight, but it looks like Road Kamelot and possibly Tyki Mikk made a really nasty attempt on the life of at least one newcomer earlier today. I'm going around collecting the welcome baskets to make sure they don't hurt anybody else, but we can't just look the other way and hope this doesn't happen again.

But they're very dangerous people. So I just wanted, first, to alert everyone, and second, to get input on what we should do to make sure people stay safe.

Input from the Black Order is -- really especially welcome right now.

((ooc: belated, but anyone looking to contact Gino can do a [private] and pretend that they have unrelatedly contacted him to talk about the defense team here. lalala))

[This day has been a waste. A complete and total waste. Kaoru just can't find one good thing about it. Sure, that party thing had sounded fun. At first. So had going out with his brother.

But the little problem is that Kaoru is speaking more than what he normally would. In a tone he wouldn't use. He had found that out with a conversation earlier in the day. It's something he can't ignore. Out of the twins, Kaoru is definitely the sneakier and more secretive of the two. It's due to the fact that he is more insightful than his twin and tends to turn emotions into tools for him to use. In some aspects, Kaoru really is the more wicked of the twins, and perhaps the one that is the more selfish of the two.

Which is why he hasn't permitted himself to talk the rest of the day. Kaoru's even left his communicator in the room he shares with his brother. if there is no temptation... If he doesn't listen in on the conversations, he can't add anything. No harm no foul, right?

He won't be liable to screw up everything like he believes that he has already done.

How could he be so blunt and snappish at Hikaru? It's his fault for telling his brother about their shared feelings for Haruhi. That's pretty much put all of Kaoru's plans into risk of failing. Instead of supporting Hikaru, it could be a hindrance. It's already started to crack their relationship to each other, despite the fact that they have been here together for some time now. Just because it's on the back burner doesn't mean that it's still not there, stewing.

Kaoru needs a moment to think about this. To rethink his strategy. The younger twin doesn't know where he is going. Nor does he care. It's not like the place is dangerous, right?

Funny how he ends up at the beach. Ironic, too. There have been a lot of incidents concerning Haruhi and the beach... Or maybe that experience had been the most terrifying? The cool air coming from the ocean is a bit of a nice contrast. Maybe he'll be able to think everything over without interruption. No one around means that he can't slip up and say something else stupid.

Maybe...]

((ooc: As he does not have his communicator, Kaoru will only be able to recognize these languages: Japanese, Spanish, French, or English! Go ahead bother him, just realize he might not understand what is being said to him.~))

[Cornus has spent all day running around, and is napping in a corner. Meanwhile Fletcher is in the kitchen of the little house he shares with Russel, getting out some materials to prepare for dinner.]

Hey, Brother? What about spaghetti? I haven't tried cooking that yet.
