Good day, Marina. Rebecca and I have been working on a virtual reality simulator for some time now. Thanks to all our beta testers, the devices are now ready for use! We hope you'll enjoy them.

Each set has two helmets which can optionally connect to one another, so you may share a session with another inmate. Starting tomorrow, people will be able to sign them out for private use. There are a few simple rules we'd ask people to follow in order to sign them out, but we can explain those to interested parties rather than publicly.

We've set up the devices in one of the shelter's common rooms for the day if you'd like to test them out or learn how they work. Using them, you can create and interact with any environment you can imagine, including places you remember from home. In one of my tests I was able to visit a space vessel, including the zero-gravity aspect of the environment, for example.

Feel free to make your own threads mingle-style, indicating [closed] if it's for a specific person. You can also have [open] threads but remember your character has to ICly approve another user to connect to their VR session; others can't just suddenly appear in session without your character giving the device permission. Today, the machines can only be used in the common room and for a limited time. For longer sessions please sign up ICly for a day to get a set for private use!
