["Think about all the things over the last year for which you are most grateful"... That message had made her chest tighten. Sure, there were things she was grateful for, but she was pretty far away from a lot of those things at the moment. That was why she had decided to just sneak past all the festivities to grab a black notebook from her apartment and head off to the Butterfly Pavilion. She didn't really have a reason for going there, but it seemed as good a place as any, especially after sitting herself down in one of the corners of the park. If she could avoid unexpected company, all the better.

With a light sigh she cracked open the notebook and started making notes with her slightly large and looping handwriting. Every now and again she stopped to press the top of her pen against her lip and narrow her eyes as if she was figuring out a tough math problem, but before too long she would just get right back to writing as if nothing had happened. She had her limits though, and her eyelids were starting to get heavier and heavier in order to remind her of that.

...Maybe she could just rest her eyes for a moment. Just one. That wouldn't cause any problems, right?

And before she knew it she was fast asleep.]

	[crosses her arms and nods. Being told that she was right about something seemed to have put her in a slightly better mood.] If you don't tell people anything of course they're going to rebel, even if it's only a little bit. I think a certain level of trust is necessary. Sentience is responsible for our well-being while we're here. [ She clasps her hands together. ] I hate to put it this way, but... she doesn't have to treat us so well. Give us things like skating rinks and ice cream parlors. We could be in an actual prison, or worse, for the kinds of things the system accuses us of.

So... I'm trying to stay positive on that front.

Maybe she doesn't. But the point is that we already have what we already have, and there are quite a few of us. Even if they decide to take things away because we're pushing for too much, I can't help but wonder what would happen if every single person here decided make things...difficult for a while. [She might as well have had devil horns sprouting from her head right that second.]

Anyway, being complacent about all this is definitely not the way to go about it.

[ Subaru's expression turns dark, and she can't even hide her eyes with her bangs if she dips her head, with the angle the girl is at. ] —I don't believe resisting more, even if it's together, is the way to go at all, Jane. The A.I. wields a lot of power. More than I can properly explain with all my experience with magic and technology combined.

It's really best for everyone if we just work together toward the same goal, along with Sentience, instead of against her. The gulf in between between someone like her, and ourselves, is too great. [ Here, she crouches and puts her hand on Jane's shoulder. Her face and tone try to convey the weight of her words. ] Please tell me you won't do anything reckless to oppose her. I really don't want to see you hurt.

	[Once again she was being told about not getting hurt; it was getting tiring, to be honest. Were people even taking her seriously? She couldn't help but wonder how Subaru would react if she spilled the beans about the whole saving the world thing.] Just what are you implying? Is she going to hurt me if I rebel? I'm not trying to say that sitting by and doing nothing is the way to go, just... [ Subaru is just lacking words today. Perhaps she should have some sort of inspirational speech handy, or at least speak concisely, but her feelings are all over the place right now so it's hard to get them all out in order.

Finally, she settles on a soft, pleading expression. ] All I'm asking is that you're careful.

	[ Subaru nods and waves again. ] Bye-bye~ [ The skates reappear when she turns and takes her wide steps to leave, and then she rides off down the path out the pavilion. She feels a little odd after the talk, but if she managed to get Jane to listen to her even a little, it was worth it.
