[action | mingle][setting fire to the second bar] [It isn't long after Kitty saw Cross dangle from the church. That fight and rescue was just beginning and from what she heard on the network it was well manned even if she was pretty sure Allen would be fighting them first for the chance to handle it alone.
So, she makes her way to The Devil's Compass. She hasn't had long to plan, but she works well under pressure. Stepping into the bar she sees it's not too crowded yet. She climbs up onto the bar and announces to those who are there that the Defense Force is securing the location since the proprietor is suspected in the current situation. She ushers them out, giving little more answer and being forceful when necessary. She calls dispatch to check on life signs near her area while she secures the door shut behind the patrons. Getting an all clear, she disconnects. She's aware that might cost her a position on the force, but she doesn't stop.
She slips in behind the bar and hefts up one large bottle of rum and sends it flying against the nearest wall. The glass shatters and the contents splatter over one of the tables. There is the barest feeling of satisfaction in the destruction. Next comes the vodka and the gin. She says nothing, but in her mind she thinks, "This one is for Allen. This one is for Cross." And when she lets another one fly it is for her. She stays phased. Not even a scratch on her as she gets everything nice and doused.
Kitty isn't exactly an arsonist by trade and most explosions and fires she dealt with were mutant-made, but she was a smart girl and she took precautions. The bar was underground already which was already in it's favor for containing what she was about to do. And luckily Greed had built it away from other things. It started as a secret bar after all. The ice skating rink was off to once side. She secured a few things. Moved a few others. There was still a lot of alcohol down there, so she braced her hands against the shelf holding most of it and pushed it—phasing—through the wall and into the ground where it would fuse when she let it go.
Once it's prepared she air walks up for a visual sweep of the area as she calls Zelgadis, telling him there is a fire at the bar and his water powers are needed. She keeps it brief—dispassionate even. With him on the way there is just one thing left to do. She drops back down into the alcohol-soaked bar, takes out her lighter flips it on, lights her cigarette and lets it drop from her hand. The fire moves quickly and she only watches it for a moment in her phased state. As moves her way back up to the surface she can hear the remaining bottles start to explode. She calmly clears the distance, waiting for Zelgadis to arrive and standing far enough away she can go solid again while preventing anyone else from showing up and getting too close.
(OOC: Characters in sector five will hear multiple explosions of varying volume. The sound may carry to neighboring sectors or be heard by anyone with super hearing of course. They are located partially underground which is muffling the sound to some extent. The immediate vicinity is clear at the time of the ignition. Flames will reach and exceed the surface, but Zelgadis will be on the scene shortly after the first audible explosion to begin containing the blaze. He will have it in hand on his own, but anyone rushing to the scene is welcome to help. Feel free to mingle. Kitty will have an open thread below. People are welcome to assume they were among those asked/told/threatened to leave the bar initially!]
