[She's a little absent-minded this morning - the events of the night before are still whirling through her thoughts, causing little thrills of excitement and nervousness which seem to wipe her mind clean the moment they hit. She manages to get up on time and get ready for her shift well enough, but after putting together her lunch, she leaves the little box on the counter and wanders out the door.

Once she arrives, she takes a moment to make a cup of tea before she begins what she hopes will be a somewhat interesting shift; not that she wants anyone to fight or get hurt, but she needs something to draw her out of her thoughts. She also looks quite different from most days: she's unusually dressed up for a simple shift, and very oddly for her, her hair is loose around her shoulders and brushed to a shine. She's even got a touch of gloss on her lips, although that's as far as she dared go with makeup.

Anyone who comes into HQ will find her dipping a teabag in and out of a mug, staring off into the distance.]

	[Oh dear, defusing time. At least Mileina took it well enough, so she won't be breaking up an actual fight.] It's okay, Ushiro, I don't mind. It just kinda... surprised me. [Alright, her face is going to spontaneously combust if Mileina doesn't stop, and she has the feeling that Ushiro's embarrassment is going to explode into anger at any moment. So she takes the situation in hand, rather forcefully in spite of her burning cheeks and hunched shoulders.]

Um - yeah, he's right. I should probably get back to work. I'm glad you guys got to meet, though... I'll be right back, okay, Mileina?

[And with that, she grabs Ushiro by the upper arm and ushers him outside.]

((ooc: there's gonna be a couple of comments just between ushiro and nakama here, but i'll let you know when mileina should come back in!))

	I'm... I'm really sorry, Ushiro. She's a good person, she's just... enthusiastic, and kind of a romantic. [Understatement of the century. 	Yeah. I'll see you after work. [There's a bit of a pause where she seems reluctant to let him go, and then she leans in and repays him for last night, kissing his cheek softly. Her next move is almost exactly the same, except that she manages to make it back into HQ without falling on her face.] (Reply to this) (Parent)
