[ Action ]
[ In the late afternoon, and stretching on until evening, the arcade has been taken over! Decorations have been hung, with a few tables set up with a pair of huge birthday cakes, other finger-foods, and drinks. Odds are, if you're close to Neil, you received an invitation to this party -- even if he has to come and drag you there, himself! (It would include friends of Lyle but, well, he kind of didn't talk to his brother about this. Whoops!)

For else that stops by, well... it will be hard to miss the ruckus, especially once guests arrive. Above the entryway to the bowling lanes a banner that simply reads:

♣ HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! ♣

It shouldn't be too hard to figure out why it's there, or who it's for, so come on in~ ]

	Ah, well. It kind of snuck up on us, too. One day she just came over and asked. [ He stretched his arms out over his head, then rested his hands atop his head. ] We're all really glad, since her brother and a friend from her world both vanished recently, and it really seemed to cheer her up. All this... coming and going. [Because, quite frankly, Tieria wasn't sure how much of it he could stand. It was one thing with people he knew he'd see again if they were going back home (and that was a whole other can of worms, there, with rumors of people being stuck in the dimensional stabilizer), but what about people he met here? Was it worth all the feelings he had to deal with when they left?]

[ Neil stepped next to him, sling an arm over his shoulder, lowering his voice a bit. His words were serious, but his tone was light. He just hopes that Tieria might understand his point of view a bit. ] Let me give you a piece of advice that I was given by someone who has been here for quite some time -- don't be afraid to build memories here, and cherish the time you get with the people while you have the chance.

[ Letting go, he smiles as he steps back over to the door. ] It's what I'm doing. [ And, you know what? He could have a worse life. ]

	[Tieria didn't pull away or stiffen under Neil's arm like he might have done in his past. Instead, he seemed to even go along with it a little bit, looking up at Neil as the other stepped back again after speaking.] Mn... [He nodded a little, his voice quiet when he answered.] I'll try.
