[ you know what's really great? dying for the third time. darla's really into the whole death scene, you know. she definitely knows that the fourth time is very much not the charm when it comes to her. but ending up in a prison after staking herself (or right before staking herself, considering how the rules work around here) is not anywhere on her list of things to do for today. ]

Anyone else's list of crimes manage to put them to sleep?

[ darla's hanging out by the beach, sunbathing on a towel she's taken from one of the stores. she hasn't felt the sun on her skin since her stint as a human. she doesn't particularly like it, but it beats wandering around like a complete idiot. but at least she has a really nice pair of sunglasses. ]

Hey y'all!

I'm, uh... I'm sure some of you know Helix. He's turnin' 17 today, and me an' Dean are throwin' him a party at th' beach tonight. It's goin' to be real casual, bring your own beverage kind o' thing — we're gonna get some fires goin' and have a barbeque so I think it'll be real nice! So just come on over to Sector 1 whenever you feel like it an' bring whatever you wanna eat and drink.

[And with a bright smile, he's about to turn off the feed when a thought happens:]

[ Nothing like a beach party to round off the day! Camp has been set up close to one of the beach huts, with beach towels strewn on the sand and a couple of oil drum barbeques heating up as we speak. Feel free to mingle amongst yourselves, cook up a meal, have a beer (if you brought it!) or say hello to the birthday boy!

Oh, and the water is juuust right. There's always the option of a dip, skinny or otherwise. ]

Calling all Scoobies--yes that includes you, Angel, Cordy and [said rather reluctantly] Faith. I think it's been a while since we've had a...you know and this place kind of warrants it. Plus, new people. So, I'm going to get some pizza. Xander, you bring the snacks and we can meet at my apartment? Top floor of Clocktower Estates 417.

[When the scoobies arrive, Buffy will indeed have plenty of pizza. She's set it on the coffee table. The living room at least is mostly furnished by Mahr Ikea. There's a couch, a chair, some barstools along the bar and some giant pillows that can be used to sit on. She's got some stakes that are really just chair legs broken off to give them a sharp, jagged edge sitting next to the couch. She knows they're not supposed to have weapons here. She thinks it's better that she has them just in case then having to make something up when needed. The remains of the broken chair are in the fireplace waiting to be burned when it gets cool enough. The door is unlocked since she's expecting people.

She's honestly not sure what they're going to talk about. She doesn't have anything in mind other than clearing the air about patrol things and defense force things. She just thinks this place needs a scoobie meeting. Or maybe it's just her that needs one.]

W-- well same to you, mister!! [ indignant redhead is indignant. ] I'm not all veiny dye-job goth anymore, this is -- dumb...
