[This was going to be one of those lovely days that just wouldn’t end. Michiru woken up to hear a very strange sound. Like a wet squishing sound. She had really only managed to get dressed for the day when she found out what it was.

Sea cucumbers. Lots and lots of sea cucumbers somehow existing outside of the water.

She fled her apartment, seemingly to escape them, but when she turned around there was one still behind her, following after her]

[After a very brief chat with one of the wardens, Ryou has found himself more confused than he was to begin with. So he puts effort into figuring this thing out. Effort is hard...

Once he does so, he proceeds, speaking in his usual manner which is slow, soft. It was like his default manner of speaking was that of someone very tired. The spaced out look on his face probably doesn't help, either.]

Ah... I'm confused...

What does "They are not aware you've left" mean in regards to people back home? Maybe it was an insult.

Happy Day 365, Marina Nova!

Hear ye, hear ye! Inmates, prisoners, fellow underwater dwellers! Lend me your ears and hands and actually just bring all of you because we're having a ye olde Renaissance Faire to celebrate a full year in this bubble under the sea!

The dome has of course been decked out appropriately. Flickering torches light the pathways, interspersed with larger bonfires that you can cosy up to with that special someone - or perhaps just a glass of honey mead. Pennant banners hang across the gates and along the buildings, sporting the proud coat of arms of the prison (a lot of purple and octopi, for some reason) and many of the clothing stores offer time-appropriate options for those of you who still knows how to have fun. The kiosk has even been re-imagined into a castle.

Many areas within the dome has activities to partake in and, if you're skilled or lucky or both, prizes to win!

OOC: Haunted Hotel Info/Plotting

[The Not Quite Normal Group Therapy Session was set up in one of the workshop rooms in the Education Center. The individual tables were pushed together into one with the chairs around it to promote a sense of belonging for the outcasts participants.

Activities were fairly free-form with a loose structure of a schedule. Introductions, bonding activities, and snacks. There were also name tags for all to wear, already printed with their names. Paper and pencils are provided.]

Introductions

My Name Is...
Go around the group and ask each young person to state his/her name and attach an adjective that not only describes a dominant characteristic, but also starts with the same letter of his name e.g. generous Grahame, dynamic Dave. Write them down, attach to their name tag, and refer to them by this for the rest of the session.

Catch Me if You Can
Everyone creates two parallel lines facing one another, opposite someone they don't know very well. Partners introduce themselves to one another, having about a minute to talk back and forth about things like hobbies, likes/dislikes, unique features. Both lines then turn back to back. They have one minute to change something small about themselves, like how their hair lies, what hand their watch is on, remove or add glasses, etc. The change should be discreet, but visible. Once time is up, the lines turn back to face one another again. Each person has two minutes and three guesses to identify the change in the other person.

Fact or Fiction
Everyone writes on a piece of paper THREE things about themselves which may not be known to the others in the group. Two are true and one is not. Taking turns they read out the three 'facts' about themselves and the rest of the group votes which are true and false.

Intermission
Snacks will be served! Take a break and talk casually to others.

What Makes You Unique
Everyone shares something unique about themselves. Show and tell if possible. Discussion welcome.

What Makes You the Same
Break apart into smaller groups of two or three. Each person must find 10 things they have in common with the person/people they're talking to.

Unique Isn't Bad
Each person talks about a time when the unique thing about them helped themselves or others. Alternately, each person discusses how they could re-purpose their uniqueness if it's something they see as bad in themselves.

Worries in a Hat
Participants anonymously write down a worry or fear related to their unique attributes and drop them in the large hat. Specificity with anonymity is encouraged. For example, "I'm worried that having magical powers and special duties because of these powers will interfere with having a family." Each person then picks a random card from the shuffled hat, reads the worry out loud, and attempts to explain what the person who wrote the worry means, trying to describe their own understanding/reflection of the person's emotions associated with the worry. The next person then picks. If someone picks their own worry, they place it back in the hat, reshuffle, and pick again. If someone figures out who wrote the worry, they must respect anonymity and not say who it was. After all the worries in the hat are read, the group can then discuss common fears and themes among what was in the hat.

[Have Euphie's smiling face on the screen. Kanji and I would like to invite you all to a picnic today! Of course we want to see all our family there, but friends and soon-to-be friends too. [That means strangers.]

You don't have to worry about bringing anything, but if you'd like to bring something extra to share or a game that would be fun or even just an extra blanket just in case that would always be welcome.

We'll be in Trois Park near the koi pond and fountain at noon today.

[There will already be some blankets laid out and pink picnic baskets with a variety of food—many of which have been prepared in extra cute ways like rice balls shaped like cats. You probably think this was mostly Euphie's doing, but it was mostly that boyfriend of hers, Kanji.]

[There's no fanfare today. The museum has something about the benefits of sheep's wool. There are no decorations up. The clothing shops have the same sort of stock they had yesterday. And there are no specialized dishes at the restaurants, but you can probably find a power bar at the convenience store, but there's nothing new there.

What is new is whatever power you woke up with or without today. What you do with that is up to you and whomever you encounter.]

It is that time again. Music class. The class starts promptly at 9am as it does every class day. Students and those who are curious about the class are both allowed in the class.

For the students who have been in the class the longest, there are pieces of music for them to work on for a bit while Michiru works with some of the newer students. It is always hard to have people come in who know nothing while there are others who have been there for a number of lessons.

This was for the first half of the class. For the last half of the class, they work on music exercises as a group.

[ Haruka and Michiru are going out to dinner tonight. That isn't so odd. What is odd is that they're walking, hand in hand, instead of using Haruka's scooter. For some reason she's decided she wants to drag this evening out, enjoy a bit of quiet time with her partner. So, no rushing for tonight. Nothing but leisure and living in the moment.

As they approach the less residential area, she squeezes Michiru's hand. ] Say when.

[You won't hear them coming. You won't see their snare. The mistletoe bots are out and they're hunting you, two by two. You can run and you can hide, but eventually you will be caught, and then there's nothing left to do but kiss your way out!

[April stares at the camera without much expression except some resigned disgust. She's sitting on a bench in Sector 0, still in her in her orange jumpsuit.]

Hey. So. This sucks. This is because I drove a riding mower through a Nordstrom one time? And...all that other stuff. Come on. Ugh. Someone either tell me something useful or just shut up.

[There's really no denying it anymore. Zatanna is gone. The only thing left to do is announce it and move on, right?]

Zatanna was around for a long time and I don't know everyone she talked to so, you should probably know she is... [She can't quite get the word "gone" out. What follows is a little more explicit and for those who didn't step through a glowing door recently it just may be news to you.] Trapped in some kind of see-through pod in the real prison while we're all in here having hay rides and dances in our minds. [Frustrated. Upset. Sad. Also greedy, but that's just the pearl's fault and really neither here nor there except that it ramps up just how much she wants her friend back!]

Happy Anniversary, Marina Nova!

You may have noticed the veritable fleet of maintenance bots zipping all over the dome throughout the night, working hard to clean up the dome and set up decorations for this momentous occasion. Come morning there isn't a corner left unfestive, with brightly colored garlands hanging across the streets and wrapping around the sector gates. Even the trees have been primped for the occasion, colors changing into rich reds and oranges. Strings of light hang from the branches and lanterns line the streets, here and there broken up by a pile of stacked hay bales perfect for taking a rest on.

Of course, that is far from all! There wouldn't be much of a festival without entertainment and your loving wardens have made absolutely sure that there's something for everyone!

[ The added power from transforming into Sailor Uranus was just enough to give Haruka the ability to leap onto the floating island, Neptune close behind her. In one gloved hand she held a small key - the only non-edible prize she'd found from the egg hunt. A lot's happened since then, and it'd interrupted her ability to test this key in the one lock she's the most curious about in the whole prison.

But it's early in the morning and they finally have free rein of the place again. So, before she has to report for community service today...

Holding up the key, she turns to Neptune. ] It's finally time.

Hello. [Euphie has confidently addressed the masses over broadcast television and in public forums, but today simply speaking to the network is difficult. She hasn't been very vocal or social since Day 290 when she woke up with a compulsion to "kill all the Japanese." It wasn't the first time this has happened to her and now more than ever she's afraid it won't be the last, but she can't hide. If she stays quiet and apart she won't only be miserable, she'll be unable to help anyone else.]

First of all, I would like to apologize for my actions and the things I said a few days ago. It was not the way I feel, and it's not what I want. It is the result of something like mind control. I thought it had passed, but it seems to return at times. I would be happy to discuss it more with anyone who has questions. I will understand if you don't feel comfortable around me, but I do hope it doesn't make anyone feel unwelcome or unsafe in the school.

There is a school here and we're always looking for more people to teach classes and more students for those classes.

I would also like to publicly thank Spike for protecting me yesterday. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't been there. [There is a bandaid on her forehead from where debris had caused a minor head wound.] Thank you to everyone who was helping protect us yesterday.
