Day 424 | Video | Action
[Felicity's been flicking through the information that's available. VR, check. A laundry list of accusations, check. She can agree to some of them, but there are a bunch that she would have totally remembered if she'd done them - like decimating a town with a bomb. She would have totally remembered if she'd done that, but she doesn't. Clearly this place is bananas; maybe worse then bananas. What was worse then bananas? Kumquats maybe? This place was totally kumquats.
When she finally turns on the unit and the visor comes over her eye she's not even sure it's working. Can anyone see her? Can they see everything or just her left eye darting around. Well, at least she's got good eyes right?]
Right, so VR face shield thing, totally lame. [She rolls her eyes and taps at the device. Totally, totally lame AIs. You could do so much better.]
I mean cute, but not nearly as versatile as a computer. No keys, no decent processor, and I totally feel like Vegeta here. Not that I'm a Dragonball Z fan or anything.
Oh, also no internet. What kind of crazy AIs don't give you access to the internet? That's just cruel and unusual punishment!
[She clears her throat because she totally got sidetracked, didn't she? Oh yeah, that was a total sidetrack rant.]
Um, any-way. I'm Felicity Smoak and I'm kinda looking for anyone who actually knows me. Not that I want anyone I know to be stuck in some crazy virtual underwater prison with no wifi and bad fashion sense, but it'd be nice to not be alone, ya know?
action
Felicity isn't expecting anything good to come out of this. Even so she keeps touching herself as she walks down the street in that ugly orange jumpsuit. Her body feels real; which would be totally fascinating and awesome under circumstances that didn't involve her not knowing where her actual physical body was or what strangers were doing with it. She liked her body! She was actually sort of attached to it! Or, you know, not, as this whole simulation would lead her to believe. Seriously, this totally changed everything she knew about the concepts of the virtual world and man's potentiality for living within it. It could potentially end ageing ... if you weren't attached to the fleshy parts of your being that is. Which, incidentally, she was.
Looking through the directory she managed to find a place where she could get rid of the ugly 'Orange is the New Black' jumpsuit that she was provided and get into something that required heels. Maybe even a nice pair of jeans. Stepping into the store however was a totally different thing. There was everything here. Everything she could ever want or not want. Right, this was going to take a lot of time. So instead of waiting around she started pushing through the racks and piling a few particular things on her arm for trying on.
