[ running. it was one of the ways he could blow off some steam. he spent most of his days here, trying to better himself, and get out of a certain someone’s way back in the apartment he was staying in. usually he didn't run into anyone which made it his 'go-to' place when he was reminded of all the bad things that happened at home and here. but if he sees anyone familiar, he’ll most likely stop and say hello. feel free to interrupt him while he’s jogging or doing his daily round of pushups. ]

[ of course it’s raining while he’s jogging towards vampire heaven, reflecting his mood. the guy’s gotta eat to survive here, but he wasn’t all too familiar with the scenery, so he's hoping he doesn't get into trouble. which was difficult with his attitude problem, especially now when he doesn't really care about anything. when he's in, he doesn't bother to say hello, and instead heads to take a seat at the ~~blood~~ bar area. ]

[Jess is still adjusting to being back here, and all the new memories she's been recently assaulted with upon her return, but throwing herself into her work seems like the best idea -- lucky for her Eric had offered her back the position right away.

She doesn't know Tyler -- a few of the other people from Mystic Falls, but not him. Still, she's one of the few on duty right now so she'll make her way over to him, offering a friendly smile.]

Anything soundin' especially good to you?

[ Tyler casually glances up, gives her practiced smile, one that's been plastered on his face for the past few days. She can either see right through it or not. First off, thankfully, he didn't know her. Which meant he wouldn't be badgered into talking things out. Not that he wouldn't. Secondly, look at her red hair. Nice. ] What do you guys even have here besides rabbit blood?

Yeah. Back home that was a bigger thing -- it helped with the whole vamps comin' out of the coffin thing. It tastes super gross though. My maker used to force it on me a lot.

Comin' right up. [And she'll fix him a glass of that, making sure it's warmed up and everything (no one should drink cold blood, ew) before handing it over to him.]

[ He couldn't imagine anything coming even remotely close to the taste of blood, the word synthetic alone turned him off. But he could see how it could have solved a lot of problems back at home. When she comes back with his glass, he wasn't expecting her to warm it up, but was pleased with the surprise. ] Thanks, really.

[She knows Caroline pretty well, but she has no idea this was Caroline's ex -- of course she also has no idea Caroline and Stefan slept together since she was stuck in the dimensional stabilizer while all that happened.]

I'm glad. It took me a long time to figure out what sorts of types I liked best.

[ This wouldn't be the first time that Tyler felt like an outsider. Usually he'd solve all of this with leaving town, but he couldn't do that now. He was stuck, just like the rest of them. Lets face it, he never really formed a true bond with anyone back at home except for Caroline and Matt. Outwardly, he was always surrounded by a sea of people. They assumed him to be popular, the head of the pack, but it was actually the opposite. Tyler was always the lone wolf, and the only one who really cared about him, was out of the picture now, like everyone else that's important in his life. Maybe he needed to talk to someone, a stranger perhaps. But for some reason, when he even thought about saying anything, he had this coppery flavor in his mouth. It was hard for him to accept this, to not lose complete control because of what happened. But luckily, he had the ability to control it, push away the thought, making him completely numb to the sole memory of the tragedy of a love lost. So many people were gone now, and he didn't really have much to lose. So, he takes a sip of his drink, there was absolutely no emotion in his eyes because he didn't want anyone to see how much it affected him, how much he wanted to act out, run, take away his frustrations. A sigh leaves him, and he blinks before he begins. ] It's fine, doesn't matter now.
