So, FYI: if you were accepted into the Defense Force, you found out "today" and received your weapon. (Where applicable and where reasonable.) Suzaku was successful in procuring a small number of of Legend of Zelda-style health potions, ten of them for now. (No mana or "both" potions this time.) If you'd like to use one in a DF fight, comment to this post so we know it's gone. :3 Sadly, J.D., you still won't get access to the hospital.

Suzaku has been asking your characters what patrol times they prefer and making motions to start putting people into rotating teams. This could be fun -- or it could be a pain! What do you guys think? Would you like to literally be assigned days to be "on patrol", or would you like to keep playing it fast and loose?

ETA: Whether or not your character got accepted to the DF is, to a degree, your call because only you know your character well enough. Are they basically a good person? Would they use their position on the Force to help the other people in Marina? Are they basically stable and sane? If the answer to all those questions is yes, then it doesn't matter what your character has done, how checkered their past is; Suzaku has very advanced psychological profiles to work with, so he'll know better.
