It would seem that I'm managing with regards to the internet so far and I would like to thank you guys for bearing with me. m(_ _)m However, I would have to move from slowatus to a hiatus, and extending it (ref: to my previous "slowatus" post) : no new threads from Ribbons from June 28 to July 7. This hiatus isn't as bad as it is, as I'll be attending a two training workshops on language teaching (and my being a language teacher brings me immense joy |D ~♥)

No worries for current threads: I shall still be tagging with arcanesansnom; and mods need not worry either as I have mentioned before, I will be present for this month's A.C. and Application Period -- I fail so much orz. o7


And now for plotting -- of course, Ribbons will have to do something during his mun's hiatus. This primarily involves cast mates and most specially Skittle-mates. Also, if you have a robot/android/cyborg/pup with electronic bits, feel free to poke. At a certain extent, this may affect those who would be actively using their communicators so... ( Open your Veda connections now~~ and pardon the tl;dr ^^; )

Hello, everyone!

There's been a slight change in Rei's physical abilities, so I thought I'd let you all know to avoid confusion in a battle situation: she now has (or will soon have!) the ability to produce an external AT Field, which is effectively a biological shield that can only be weakened by another AT Field (nullification) or weapons from her own world. It does appear late in canon, so this is something that could naturally, believably occur within her second body as well.

This will come into play as soon as she has a reason to physically protect Tsukasa, whom Yui's biological influence has adopted as a surrogate Shinji, from what she perceives to be mortal harm - probably as a part of the monster events, but if something happens sooner (taking on Kefka, what), it may happen then.

There are many caveats and rules, though, so she's not massive hax: you can see them here, along with a picture of what the AT Field looks like (the Kaworu link). So if Rei blocks one of your attacks and you wonder why or how, this is why!
