Dexter episodes two and three
One of the things I really like about this show is the way that there's an underlying case that's ongoing but there's other stuff going on around...other cases, Rita, Dexter's extra-curricular activities. It sets a great pace.
bookgirl24 brought up something in the last post that I was thinking about when I watched these 2 episodes last night. It has to do with Dexter's feelings. He says he doesn't experience them and yet sometimes it seems like he does. I've noticed how much he hates to see kids hurt. And how he didn't want to disappoint his Mom or Harry by killing something bigger. Has anyone else noticed those or any other idiosyncrasies? I wonder if his knowledge of how one is supposed to feel comes from observing people. It must be exhausting to be so detached that you have to go through such a complicated thought process before responding to a situation. First he has to recognize what's going on, decide on a 'normal' reaction, and then put on his game face. THOUGHTS?
I so love the way that Dexter let's his victims know exactly why they're dying and how he makes them confess first. YOU?
I'm also fascinated by the creativity and clues from the Ice Truck killer. hee
Anyone want to talk book differences?
Now I'm off to watch 104. :D
