( st: tng - picard/crusher ) our luckless romance

Title: Our Luckless Romance: Five Times Jean-Luc Picard and Beverly Crusher Were Almost Lovers
Fandom: Star Trek: The Next Generation
Characters: Jean-Luc Picard and Beverly Crusher
Word Count: 4,187
Rating: K+
Warnings/Spoilers: Do I seriously have to warn for possible spoilers for the TV show? And since this takes place after Nemesis, you can expect spoilers for the movie.
Disclaimer: In case it’s not blindingly obvious, I do not own these characters. They belong to Paramount. I’m not making any profit off of this. The summary and titles for each part come from A Fine Frenzy’s song “Almost Lover”, which I also do not own.
Summary: You told me you would never, never forget these images...
Author’s Notes: I’m trying something new and messing with chronology. My original idea was to go backwards, but I think the mixed up version might go better. I also played with tenses and point-of-view, which hopefully won’t be too confusing. I’m still not entirely pleased with Part 2. *sigh*

Goodbye, my almost lover/Goodbye, my hopeless dream/I'm trying not to think about you/Can't you just let me be?/So long, my luckless romance/My back is turned on you/Should've known you'd bring me heartache/Almost lovers always do. )

( bsg - laura/bill ) wake up

Title: Wake Up
Fandom: Battlestar Galactica
Characters: Laura Roslin/Bill Adama
Word Count: 100
Rating: K
Warnings/Spoilers: Spoilers for “Sine Non Qua” and speculation based off spoilers for “The Hub”.
Author’s Note: Eee, first A/R drabble I’ve ever done. Definitely not the greatest work I’ve ever done or the best A/R drabble out there, but I’m proud of it. I don’t usually include lyrics at the beginning of a drabble, but I couldn’t resist this one time. I’m not including the lyrics in the word count (‘cause it’s my drabble and I can do that if I want to). Oh, the lyrics are from “Wake Up” by Coheed and Cambria.
Disclaimer: Battlestar Galactica does not belong to me. I'm just doing this for fun.

'Cause I will be coming back )

( bsg - laura, bill ) betrayal

Title: Betrayal
Fandom: Battlestar Galactica
Characters: Laura Roslin, Bill Adama
Word Count: 528
Rating: K+
Warnings/Spoilers: If you’ve seen everything up to season four, you’re good. The rest is just speculation.
Summary: “Did you know or were you a sleeper agent?”
Author’s Note: I decided I wanted to try this really unoriginal idea that either Roslin or Adama was a Cylon. Then I wanted to write it in a way that keeps people guessing which one is the Cylon until the end. So it turned into a mostly dialogue-only piece. People can probably easily guess which one’s the Cylon, but oh well. It was fun to write.

Summary: For a moment, she trusted it.
Author’s Note: A drabble I wrote around 2:00AM when I couldn’t sleep. The idea had been in my head since last Friday, though. I’ve never been very good at drabbles, but this just kind of needed to be written as a drabble.
Disclaimer: Battlestar Galactica does not belong to me. I'm just doing this for fun.
