[A familar face popped up on the device, flashing a small, humorless smile.] Hey there, guys and dolls. Miss me? Yeah, I know you did. How could you not?

[Darcy glances off to the side, catching a snowflake right in the eye. Damn it. That's what glasses were for. For a moment, Darcy look heartsick and she swallows hard.] Anybody wanna update me on what I've missed in the two years I've been outie? It's gonna be quite the walk to the bus station to get home. [Not to mention the transfers to get up to the Residential District. Ugh.]

Thanks, buddy. [Darcy says to the man.] Hey, so...I died. Heh, that's the worst opening line ever, I'd say. But, um, this is Darcy Lewis and I'm in the middle of the-- forest, right? Smells like the forest-- [She says softly to the man, who then says she's correct.] Yeah. So, I'm in the forest and I can't see jack all. I'd appreciate the help getting home.

Anybody got an update on the crew of the Enterprise? [She tries not to sound nervous, but her voice wavers for a moment.] Thanks, in advanced.

Dean, it's Darcy. I.... I don't know if you know Ben Braeden. He's a special guest like us and he's working on the Enterprise in Engineering. He's going on about people with black eyes and saying we're monsters. I know that the black eyes mean demons and you, Sam, and Castiel are the number one guys I know that know about demons.

But he's armed with a phaser and it's not set to stun and I'm concerned for him and the lives of the people on this ship. Is there anything you can do to help?

[An unknown amount of time later, Darcy's sitting at the kitchen table, eyes red. She flicks on the phone, sniffling softly as she does. There's a tall bottle of scotch beside her. And good for her, she's using a glass.] So, my birthday's in two days. [A beat and she takes a sip of scotch.] This isn't me asking for birthday wishes. It's really, really not. I just, I wanted to say....

For those of you that knew Magnus Martinsson...you were very lucky. He may not have been very talkative, or social. But he was a great man. And I think I was the luckiest woman, because he loved me. [The tears well in her eyes and her voice cracks as she speaks. She inhales sharply through her nose and reaches for the phone, turning it off before she starts crying over the network.]

Sooooooooooooooooo.... [The voice post starts with the most awkward of 'so's.] I spent the past week in a strange....Avengers version of Star Trek. Which, to be fair, pretty awesome. But now it's like I have all of that freakin' medical knowledge shoved into my brain. Right alongside the epic music and movie trivia.

Is this what it was like for Neo when he was all "whoa I know Kung-Fu"? Because, whoa, I know more than basic medical knowledge from the future.
