WHO: Scott McCall & Sheriff Stilinski WHAT: Checking in after the Hale Fire. WHERE: Beacon Hills Hospital WHEN: [Backdated] October 31st, around 1 AM. STATUS: In-Progress
Halloween night had quickly turned from festivities to disaster. Scott was handing out candy when he heard the first sirens, passing nearby. They were loud to a wolf, and he nearly dropped the bowl. He thought nothing of it until the second pass. Then the third. He counted four firetrucks. Four? Did Beacon Hills even have four firetrucks? Something had to be wrong. The call to his mother didn't go through, he kept getting her answering machine, and he ended up cracking his phone case because he was squeezing it too tightly.
Eventually, he decided to head over and just check it out for himself, stopping to pick up his mother's favorite order from the diner downtown. Might as well have a legitimate excuse for visiting; he didn't need to worry her unnecessarily.
So here Scott is, waiting in the emergency room with a take out bag clutched in one hand, watching the chaos of a hospital on Halloween night. Pranks gone wrong, people falling trying to hang decorations, and just general insanity all tended to unfold, and he hadn't gotten a chance to see his mom yet. He's having trouble picking through all the voices, but apparently almost every single EMT was dispatched - out to the preserve? Why?
