The House elves didn't have any soup ready so he'd had to wait a while until it was ready. Thankfully, the house elves were reasonably quick. Soon enough, Fred was on his way back to the common rooms and back to his dorm with soup, bread and a spoon for Angelina. He passed Lee on his way back to his bed and he mentioned that Angelina had already arrived. Thanking him, Fred continued to his own bed and placed the soup on his bedside table. "You have to uncover your head if you're actually planning on eating the soup." he said, taking a seat on the edge of his mattress. "Otherwise the pillow will eat it all and I don't think it's very hungry." |

Did Angelina immediately jump out from under the pillows? No. She only burrowed herself more firmly at that. “You’re never going to want to snog me again,” she said obviously having taken something to make herself feel better. Under normal circumstances she wouldn’t have said anything like that. Thought it maybe but never said it. She was amusing when she was sick though. It wasn’t that he hadn’t seen her a million times before when she was under the weather but this was different. She suddenly found herself wondering why she hadn’t thought of this all before she came. It all came out in silly, sick behavior. “I look dreadful." He’d have to fight her to get to pillow away. Fred laughed. Sick people could be rather amusing. Or maybe that was just drugged people. "If you never come out from under that pillow then no, I won't want to. Pillows just aren't the same to kiss." he joked. He tapped his fingers on the bed, waiting for her to reapper. "Come on Angie, you can't look that bad. You let Lee see you, why can't I?" His logic worked. She tugged the pillow away, using her arms to pull herself back into sitting. It took more effort than she would have liked. “I don’t fancy Lee,” she said after a moment moving enough to one side so he didn’t have to stand there like that. “That is what makes it different.” She used her own hands to try to bring some organization to her messy bed-head but there really wasn’t much to be done for it. She managed a look at Fred at that looking apologetic for being sick, strange, and everything else she might have been at the moment. “You’re a saint for putting up with this,” she acknowledged. "Especially since I'm going to end up getting you sick if you don't already have it and don't know it." (Reply to this)(Parent) (Thread) |

"Good, I'd be worried if you did fancy Lee." Fred said, moving to the spot Angelina had made for him. "It shouldn't though, I'm still your best friend, right? As your best friend I've seen you looking bad before." he added. "Not that you look bad now. Or ever." he added hastily. Fred shrugged. "I was probably already infected so I may as well spend more time with you." he said. "So are you going to eat the soup I had specially made for you or just let it get cold?" She smiled for half a moment and then scowled slightly. He was boosting her ego and then yeah it was back down again. She got over it quickly though. He probably didn’t mean it as horribly as she might have wanted to take it anyways. His quick recover had helped make it a little less negative sounding. “You’re always my best friend first and foremost ,” Angelina told him. There was soup to be consumed and the fact he’d had it made just for her made her happy. She might not be able to get all of it down but she felt obligated to at least have some of it since she’d asked for it. “Of course, I’m going to eat it,” she told him. “I made you go to the trouble of getting it … are you going to spoon fed it too me or do I have to climb over you to get to it. Granted it might take so much energy to get over there I might not crawl back.” |
