Johnny B: So, who out there has been keeping themselves warm with new and mysterious letters? I know I have and I can't say I was entirely expecting the upbeat piece of parchment I received in response to it. How about you, Lunette? Lunette: You know that I did, Johnny, and I was more than a bit surprised on what I received as well. The question is, though, are you thinking that it's a big joke? Johnny B: Oh, I don't know just yet. You know what I do know, though? Lunette: What might that be? Johnny B: It seems that Minister Cavanaugh is pretty positive that it's a joke. Lunette: You're telling me. In fact, in an interview he did earlier today with none of than Rita Skeeter - who was kind enough to give us this information, I might add - he made it abundantly clear that any information that is given to the public through that piece of mail is completely untrue. Johnny B: Now, now, Lunette. It sounds to me like you're sounding as untrue as whoever is writing that thing. The Minister also said that all of those deaths and disappearances did happen. Lunette: True, Johnny, but he also went on to say that while they might have happened, that there is no link between them or any of the other deaths and disappearances that have happened in the past year. Johnny B: Interesting. All I can say, is I'm not so patiently awaiting the next edition of this mysterious article. Lunette: You're not the only one, Johnny. (Slight pause.) Anyway, there you have it, folks. Minister Cavanaugh says that things are just peachy but whether or not you think that might be the case is up to you. Next up - the new hit "Keep My Cauldron Full" by the Split Seconds. |
