Truth Serum slipped into water system leaves scar on Ministry Reported by: Jonathan Wormiton Ministry workers of all walks of life and departments spent Tuesday, February 12, under the effects of what was found to be a mild truth serium slipped into the water system by a member of the custodial staff. While the effects weren't strong, there were some members of the Ministry who found themselves answering questions that they would have, under normal circumstances, thought twice about shedding light on. "It isn't that we have anything to hide," one worker that wishes to remain anonymous comments. "The Ministry tells the public everything that we know. I don't know why it was done." Just why, however, came to light when Mordecai Hubb was caught attempting the same sabotage again just yesterday on Satuday, February 16. Hubb claimed that in his position as a custodian, he was able to hear things that the general public was not able to witness or hear for themselves. He feels that, "Keeping things from the people who make society what it is is a crime and the Ministry should be punished for it." While being taken to containment, Hubb yelled that he was part of an organization that was aiming to find information out and to bring it to the public's knowledge. While the name of this group has yet to be found, the anti-Ministry group is working towards finding out more about the mysterious deaths that have occured over the past year. Whether or not this group is working in vain is still in question. The Ministry still claims that there is nothing being hidden from the public. Minister Cavanaugh says, "It's really quite silly. Why would the Ministry would even dream to keep anything from the people that we serve?" The Minister continued on to say that any information that the Ministry does find out is relayed to the citizens through reliable sources such as the Daily Prophet. "Everything is fine," the Minister claims. "The only corruption is with the people who are pointing fingers." |
