I adopted a cat from the shelter. It's name is Jenna. It has a person name, I think that's funny.

She's a little skittish so I can't get a picture.

I just feel bad for all the animals. But I like being with them, I don't hear their thoughts.

On the one hand, it's hard to believe I've been here almost seven months. On the other hand, it's hard to believe it's only been seven months. Time is such a fluid thing, a minute is always 60 seconds, there's always 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day, seven days in a week, and so on, and yet...it becomes vague and surreal the further you become distanced from a single point of reference. I find it quite fascinating, really.
