I have been thinking on this, and I desire a fencing partner. Much as I do appreciate fire arms and a chance to fight hand-to-hand, it has dawned on me that I have not had the chance to do as much sword work as I would wish to.

Would there be any volunteers? My strength is in the chinese straight sword, the short sword and the saber, but I would also be willing to learn other manner of blades in exchange for demonstrations.

I've discovered the music of this time, and I really find it helps while I'm carving at work. Seriously, the easiest way to focus on my job and not anything around me. It's so vastly different than the music from home, any of them, that I love it.

Hey all. Murphy and I have some news and we're only sharing it with you guys for now. Mostly because it's going to affect you almost as much as us...

So, I'm pregnant. Yes, we're freaked out and terrified. We're also excited because we're pretty sure this is our kid from the future.

Anyway, we're either going to need a bigger ~~boat~~ house, build some add-ons to this one, or Murphy and I will have to get a place of our own. Either way, we'll need more space, and we thought you all should be a part of that discussion. Nothing needs to be decided right this minute, but we're giving you the heads up.

While I appreciating returned home, I don't appreciate the fireworks that I couldn't avoid. They triggered flashbacks that led to a panic attack and not sleeping all night. That's not how I expected to spend my second night of married life.

However, I did enjoy finding my journal in the kitchen when I went to make Shawn some coffee this morning. Talk about a walk down memory lane.

The sun did not rise today.

As a Commander, you are aware from the first moments that life will be short. You're duty? Always to your people and the price for them is always such a price worth paying even with your life.

I am not sure what will happen, but I sense that something is going to happen and it will probably result in the end of my days here. I do not fear death. I fear for what I leave behind.
