So we're going to try something different at Pole Position because I'm bored and I'm tired of ten year olds in the store without their parents and no spending money.

This weekend we're going to have a video game tournament. We'll hook up the demo systems and run Call of Duty Modern Warfare on one day and Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Sunday. It'll be fun. No need to actually be tournament level for it since we'll have rounds for n00bs to just try out the games.

So all this talk of prom reminded me of how crappy mine was. I had a few responses indicating similar experiences or opinions. This got me thinking. What about an Anti-Prom? Not like all of us sitting around complaining about the popular people and how we don't have dates, blah, blah, blah. Something where we call come as we are, comfortable clothes and hang out...with slasher flicks.

We take up some space in the park. Wear whatever we want...I'm going for yoga pants, a flannel shirt over a tank top and socks. String up a sheet and project slasher flicks on it. Bring your own beverages and snacks.

Here's the lineup I'm thinking of*:

American Psycho
My Bloody Valentine
Friday the 13th (remake)
I Know What You did Last Summer
The Hills have Eyes (remake)
Zombieland (for a chuckle and a nice break in the gore)
