Who: Sean Nast and Savannah Levine What: Retrieving a freaked out little sister When: Tuesday night Where: Community center Warnings: TBA Status: Closed/On-going
Sean had been fully aware of the fact that Savannah could show up -- that she'd already been there once and could easily show up again, actually. But somehow he hadn't expected her to be the little girl that had killed their father, albeit on accident. He should've been prepared for that possibility, really, because in Madison Valley? Anything was possible. Case in point, the fact that his father was there.
Which was something he wasn't exactly looking forward to telling Savannah but was absolutely going to tell her. He wasn't stupid. Sean just hadn't wanted to drop that on her over the network. It was one thing to drop the fact that he was there, it was another entirely to tell her about their father. Kristof would kick his ass if he found out Sean did that, and it'd be deserved.
And that meant he was walking into the community center late at night in jeans and a t-shirt, gym shoes, with his hair looking like he'd rolled out of bed. Which he hadn't, he just hadn't bothered brushing it beyond swatting at it a few times. Most people would say it was a calculated choice, presenting himself as the exact opposite of what his sister would expect from a Cabal member, but no. It was legitimately Sean being lazy. Also slightly terrified.
Damned if he looked it as he walked into the building, though, or as he asked someone where his sister was. He just thanked them for their help and headed over to Savannah.
God, she was so young. Only a couple years younger than he knew, yeah, but still. So young.
