Touch and Go
I bought an iPod touch last fall, the 16-gig model, and was completely satisfied until I went to update to 2.1 software version. It froze, and then went into Recovery Boot Mode. Nothing I did brought it out, so I sent it in. They could not fix it, so they sent me a new one.

When I went to update to 2.2 last week, BAM! Exact same thing. Brand new iPod touch!! I'm sending it in for repairs again, or probably just a replacement. Sigh.

Anyone else having this problem with their iPod touch getting stuck in Recovery Boot Mode?
