Nickname: Silly nicknames from his family, but nothing that stuck
Birthplace: Beulah, ND
Appearance: Standing as six foot even, Adam is your usual playboy heartthrob. He's got a devil-may-care grin and hazel eyes that always seem to have a hint of mischief to them. He's got long, brown hair that brushes his jawline and a muscular build. He dresses very casual, a jeans and t-shirt type of guy.
Personality: Rough around the edges is such a nice way of putting it. Adam can be downright temperamental, moody, and sometimes a total jerk. But don't let him fool you. It's all cover. He doesn't like people getting too close for fear that they'll get hurt. His nature is nothing if not good.
Once you get past the harsh exterior, you meet a young man who is strong, kind, and generous. Get him in his element and he's outgoing, charming. He's mostly this way with the other wolves, his family.
Special abilities/talents: Adam is very musically inclined. He plays guitar, piano (at his mother's request when he was a kid, but he loves it now), sings, and even writes music when he feels like it. But shh, don't tell. It's his secret.
Supernatural Affinity: Species/Group: Werewolf Power(s): Those of a cursed wolf Level: N/A Affiliation/Rank: The Mysteria Pack Preferred Prey: Whatever crosses his path in wolf form, so be careful
History: Life as a cursed wolf. That's what Adam Fitzgerald is now faced with. Of course, things weren't always this way.
Once upon a time, he was normal guy. He and his family lived in Beulah, a small North Dakota suburb, a football town. His family wasn't rich by any means, but they were happy. He was the second of three boys and one girl, his sister being the youngest. His mother was a paralegal and his father a carpenter. Nothing interesting, but Adam liked it.
He was a happy, outgoing guy and from childhood quickly became a local football star. He took his team to state every year since he was a freshman. He got a scholarship to the University of Florida. Life was fine.
Until the murders began. The town of Beulah was up in arms over the killings of two local women and a man. The women on one night, the man on another, all out in public areas in the evening. They were torn apart, and the town had been put on high alert, having no idea what could have done such a thing. Wolves around there were unheard of.
Then the third night came.
Adam's sister Juliet was playing in the back yard that evening, just being a ten year old kid trying to get out of her chores. They thought it was safe. Juliet was swinging on their playset when she noticed a dog. She thought so anyway. She hopped off the swings and beckoned the dog over. Adam had gone outside to go fetch her, it was getting late. He took one look at the dog and knew what was killing people. Just as the wolf lunged for Juliet, Adam pushed her out of the way, letting the wolf maul him.
He fought it the best he could, screaming for Juliet to run, and she did instantly. His father was home, and she told him that Adam was getting killed by the 'dog'. He got his gun and shot it off of Adam, killing the wolf. Adam survived, but barely.
He was critical for days. The wolf had tried to rip his throat out. Then, quite miraculously, he was fine. Better. His wounds even seemed to heal at rapid rate. He was fine. He got to go home from the hospital two weeks after he was admitted. Beulah rested easily once again. They thought they caught the murderer. Adam noticed the changes in him, but as human way, tried to play it off.
Then, come next moonrise, they hear wolf howls. The town was put on alert once more when they had spottings of the wolf. It was believed that they were a pack now. Hunting parties were sent out. Some of them didn't come back. Adam doesn't remember. He just remembers waking up the next day, naked and in pain.
By the time the second month rolled around, he knew without question. He had tried to touch his mother's silver necklace, and been burned. His senses were insanely better. He was stronger, faster. Then he realized what he had done. He was responsible for the death of people he had known. Friends. And it was his fault.
He tried to tell his parents. He didn't know what else to do. They simply didn't believe it. How could they? Your son has become a wolf? Really? By the time he had gotten his courage up to tell him, it was his second full moon. He was Changing again.
He was in the basement of his home when it started. His mother had sent him down there. She watched him go. When he was taking forever with the laundry, she went to see him, only to be staring into the eyes of the wolf. Adam ran after her, but she was luckily by the door and managed to get away without him touching her. She called for his father, and they waited until Adam was himself again. After that, they were shell shaken, unsure of what to do. Help came in the form of Jeremy Caine.
He had heard about the murders and the 'miraculous' recovery of the hometown football star. Knowing what he was, before he could do more damage, he took the young man to Mysteria, offered to help. Now he's there. Living cursed.
Flaws: Adam has a bit of a death wish. He's done some pretty awful things that have taken a toll on his conscience and part of him think he deserves death for it.
He's got quite the temper. He's much more careful of it now, but that doesn't mean he still doesn't get angry. He doesn't get violent, but he will get pissed off easily enough.
Adam doesn't go looking for trouble. Really. There's just something about him that attracts danger. Hence how he got in his current predicament. Should make for interesting times.
Merits: Adam's sense of smell is amazing. He can sniff you out and differentiate between you, who you've been with, and what you've been doing with one try.
He's good with his hands. His father was a carpenter, and he learned a few tricks of the trade. He's talented with woodcarving, building, etc.
