Occupation: CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) for the family company
Appearance: Tall, dark and handsome, that's Marcus Thomas and he knows it. 6'3" and a muscluar build, he's definitely got the leonine look of a leopard. His skin is naturally dark, a smooth compliment to his deep brown eyes and black hair.
He's got a tattoo of a dragon on his inner bicep. A monument of his rebellious nature and youth. He got it while he was away in boarding school so his teachers and parents wouldn't see it until the time was appropriately shocking enough.
His were form is nearly identical to his sister's save for his larger frame, melanistic and often mistaken for a panther rather than leopard, his dark eyes turning to a fluid gold, piercing against his black fur. His war form is entirely black as well and enormous, physical strength being his best asset.
Personality: Charming, funny, and witty, Marcus is what most girls want in a man. He's also temperamental, sarcastic, can even be cold, cutting, and vindictive. Those are traits that he doesn't like about himself, but for the life of him cannot change. It usually makes him say and do things he regrets but he's got such a proud nature that it's hard for him to apologize, even when he knows how unkind he's been.
He's fiercely independent, never liking to stay in one place or with one person for long. Not unless he considers you family, his territory, then he's entirely devoted. Unfortunately, save for his family, work and a few cherished friends, this is something that isn't seen very often. And even worse, usually his reputation proceeds him. When Marcus is coming into town? You'd better be forewarned. Otherwise you're caught in the snare.
Special abilities/talents: He's multi lingual, speaking Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin Chinese. He learned Chinese during his time in China, studying martial arts, loving to spar against Morgan.
Supernatural Affinity: Species/Group: Lycanthrope/wereleopard Power(s): Those of a born wereleopard Level: N/A Affiliation/Rank: N/A Preferred Prey: Depends on where he is, but usually large game such as deer
History: Two minutes younger than his twin Morgan, Marcus Thomason was born to the same wealth and privilege of his sister, being groomed to help run the family corporation and excelling with great ease. Another thing he had in common with his twin? The fact that they were lycanthropes. Melanistic wereleopards to be exact. Morgan was the only girl, so doted on slightly more, something Marcus never minded, especially being guilty of it himself. He liked the freedom that came with having less expectations. He proved to be an unruly child though, and was sent to private school, the best of the best of course. This is his greatest regret, because he wasn't there to save Morgan.
Their eldest brother Martin was insanely jealous of Morgan, resorting to violence with her. Even if Morgan could defend herself, Marcus didn't care. No one hurt his twin and got away with it. He was quickly expunged from the family before Marcus could get to him.
Afterward, everyone seemed to ease more, lighten with Martin's absence. During his visits home when he was free to be himself, his father was happier, overjoyed that his kids took such a shine to the family business. Marcus began to enjoy it because he could travel, make use of his charm that won over most who crossed his path. During college, he studied business of course, but his focal points were on language, travel, international relations. He wanted to see the world, hopefully find others like he and Morgan someday.
That day came when he was in college. He met an American photographer named Nadia, knew instantly that she was like him. He couldn't resist of course, and though reluctant, she couldn't seem to either. They had an affair, neither of them intended it to be any longer than that. He didn't expect to find his mate in Nadia,
Marcus being Marcus, he rejected the idea just as strongly as she seemed to. The attraction was magnetic, a force of nature neither of them could resist. He would find excuses to be near her, eventually not minding the idea of her being his mate. Then his mother found out.
"Oh, and soon I'll have grandchildren and Marcus you can finally just settle down and..." The words still echo in his head. They obviously did for the fiercely independent Nadia as well. Soon after they decided to split up.
Trying to get over her, think of anything else, he decided to join his sister in America under the guise of the expansion of the company.
Flaws: Marcus is your typical male wereleopard in the respect that he loves his freedom. So much it's made him commitment phobic. He considers certain things belonging to part of his territory (such as his family, the business, ect.) and in that respect is completely devoted. But try and tie him down and he'll fight kicking, screaming and growling.
Check your ego at the door please, Marcus' is bigger (and obviously better) than yours. He knows he's attractive, strong, smart and charming, facts that he celebrates. Then he makes sure you know how much better he is than you are, but oh so smoothly of course.
Marcus has a temper. If you push him hard enough there's no stopping the man. He's fiercely protective of the people he cares about, admittedly too much. Besides, he's always right anyway.
Which brings us to, overconfidence. Yeah, he's guilty of it obviously, endangering himself sometimes as a result of this.
Merits: Smooth talker, say it again. He's good at persuading, goading, whatever he needs to say to get what he wants. Be it a business deal or just to push your buttons.
It doesn't matter what he says about what a terrible father he'd be. It's a lie, he's great with kids.
