Occupation: Bridgette works as a waitress at a local diner, even though she really doesn't want to.
Appearance: If anyone has been pulled from the classic teenage girl mold it's Bridgette Drews. She's rather tall for her age, standing at five feet eight inches high with a figure that makes it obvious that she doesn't just sit still all day. Her skin is pale but not so much that it looks as if she's permanently sick, and her cheeks are dotted with freckles and generally have a naturally rosy hue. The really unique thing about the young woman is her incredibly round face, and full, pouty lips that add an air of sweetness to whatever she says. Aside from her light skin the girl has naturally wavy brown hair (she straightens it often) that shines naturally and compliments her deep hazel eyes. Dressing every morning is something that this young woman takes great pride in. Her wardrobe consists of a great range of colors and fabrics, things that flow, things that fit perfectly and things that are just plain fun to put on. Accessorizing is big with Bridgette too; she owns tons of vintage jewelry, bags, and shoes (as most of her shopping is done at thrift stores). While her outfits are well thought out, her makeup is amazingly toned down unless she feels like shocking you with a bright orange shade of eye-shadow. Generally she sticks to shades of grey and natural tones when it comes to such things. When she finds reason (or when her temper strikes her) to spread her wings and show her true self it doesn't take a whole lot of work. Her light crimson 'half-wings' are only about two feet in length and consist of an array of red feathers. When they're not being used for flight Bridgette stores her wings, and they are hidden behind two identical v-shaped scars on her back.
Personality: Bridgette is a complex being in every single sense of the word. Her upfront demeanor makes it seem like the girl is nothing more than a listener, one of those that lets the world go by as she takes notes and tries to figure everything out for herself, and on some level she is just that. But there seems to be much more to her than that if you look hard enough. She doesn't say much upon first meeting her, and never says anything that could let you try to figure her out unless she feels like she can trust you. Her life was built on secrets, and now that she's more or less on her own she wants to start over. Her mind works in a way that causes her to question the world around her and everything and everyone that she meets. She wants (longs even) to know more, to know how things tick. The girl is a curious being, and sometimes that coupled with her recklessness can get her in trouble. When she's at ease with those around her she speaks more. Really, Bridgette is a sarcastic girl who speaks what's on her mind and doesn't tend to hold anything back. She is honest, and expects you to be honest with her, she'll trust you easily enough but once you do something to show that you don't respect that trust...well it'll be a very long time until you can get it back. She loves in a way that pains her, and when someone she loves hurts her she doesn't take it lightly. While most people find weakness in tears, Bridgette is able to embrace them with the knowledge that they make her more human than she ever really could be. Her anger too is something that she marvels at, because when she is mad all of the constraints that she forces herself to keep melt away. She isn't one for confontation, but she will yell if she feels the need to do so.
Special abilities/talents: Bridgette's ability to feel emotions can often lead her to glimpse bits of what their reactions would be to certain things at the time that they're feeling said emotion. She also seems to be very good at calming people down, though that could just be due to her caring nature.
Supernatural Affinity: Species/Group: Guiding Angel Power(s): Can feel the emotions of those around her subtly within herself. Level: N/A Affiliation/Rank: N/A Preferred Prey: N/A
History: Bridgette Celeste Drews was born to Missy Drews on August 3rd, 1990 in Park River, North Dakota. As a child Bridgette didn't find it odd that her mother was raising her on her own, in fact the girl preferred it that way, but once it became apparent that Bee was different from other children her mother shied away. The mystery of why a tiny pair of wings fluttered from the young girls back whenever she got upset was one that was never really cleared up by Missy until her death, and as a child, this difference nearly ruined Bridgette's life. Her classmates ridiculed her, and her teachers wouldn't have her in the room, claiming she was playing some sort of cruel trick. As she grew Bridgette began to resent her mother for not explaining things to her, for not comforting her, and for not being around more. Missy tended to stay out later the older her daughter got to be, bringing men home at all hours of the night and never telling Bridgette where their next meal was going to come from. Somehow, though, the young girl managed to cope with it all and prove to her teachers that she was smarter than they thought she was. Over time she learned to manage her wings, and ignore the snide remarks her peers made about her mother. She blocked the world out, and let very few people in. On her sixteenth birthday the girls world was turned on its head; Missy was found inside her apartment by Bridgette, passed out on her bed. The girl called an ambulance but by the time they got there it was too late, her mother had already died of a drug overdose. For the next few months she was tossed from foster parent to foster parent until she decided she'd had enough and set out to find her biological father. She had a name, and a photograph her mother had kept in her dresser drawer. Somehow she ended up sitting at the bus station in Mysteria, clutching the address of a bar in her hand, and wondering if Gideon Xavier might have the answers she'd searched for for all of her life.
Flaws: ~Bridgette questions nearly everything, and her curiosity and longing for knowledge can often get on peoples nerves and get her in much more trouble than the answers are worth. She still tries to get them, though. ~Her intense honesty and lack of knowledge of when to shut up lead people to dislike the young woman a lot more often than they probably otherwise would. She's really not trying to be mean, but when it comes to her she believes that honesty is more important than anything, even if it hurts. ~Bridgette suffers from chronic migraines. It seems to be just one of the traits she's inherited from her father, and it's one of the more painful ones. When one of them hits her she hides out under her covers until it's gone, and prefers not to do anything but sleep.
Merits: ~Her best personality trait is Bridgette's ability to care. She is always non-judgemental and will try to help you out no matter what kind of situation you find yourself in. So far there's only been one person in her life that she hasn't been able to save, and that was because they didn't want the help. ~This girl has an amazing listening ability. If you need her to sit next to you while you rattle off a list of everything that sucks in your life she will, and if you want her advice...well she can give you that too. ~She's a smart cookie. Her intelligence often amazes those around her and she is quick to find a way out of nearly every situation that could end badly. It also gives her the chance to know just what to say.
