I'm still in the process of putting this guy together fully in my head, but Nick was brothers with the former alpha of the Keystone pack and was banished in 2010 because he was becoming too large of an opposition of the alpha. At that time, he didn't have any real ambitions to usurp, but rather he was just very opinionated and was very near an alpha ranking which in itself caused a great deal of tension between the two brothers. Once banished, Nick began recruiting (and biting) werewolves to form his own pack, albeit a bit of a ragtag one, probably no more than half a dozen wolves including him. It was enough for him to have the strength to return in 2015 and challenge his brother for the Keystone alpha role. This occurred we'll say in May 2015 and Nick killed his brother along with a few other werewolves that got in his way. He only killed males though possibly maimed females if they got in his way.
Nick's not a complete sadist, but he is harsh and he is far more progressive than his brother. He wants to move forward instead of remaining stagnant. They have one resort and Nick wants to expand, possibly even setting up new resorts around Denver and even near Boulder. He also wants to come out to humans, but ultimately for declaring the werewolves' superiority. That's not something he's made known though. Basically, he wants to grow the pack and the werewolf life in general.
Lines I would love are a werewolf that followed when he was banished from the Keystone pack and has remained loyal ever since, a werewolf he bit within the last few years who might follow him almost obsessively, and of course the secondary pack alpha who might have been a friend of Nick's and his brother's growing up who ultimately wound up siding with his brother. I'm of course open to discussing everything else! People who hate him, people who support him, people who just want to keep their heads down and get by.
