Hello everyone. I'm the person who put the Grant Gustin hold, but a lot of the ideas that I have in my head haven't gelled 100%, so hopefully some of y'all can help fill in some of those blanks. Like Vanna with them letters and such.
Right now, all I've got is that Grant will portray a Wapiti pack caretaker named Christopher. His sirname has yet to be determined, and he never goes by Christopher, as he's always been referred to as 'Kit.' The diminutive form from which his nickname is derived helps form a pretty good skeleton for the character, as Kit's spent almost all of his life being treated like a child, sheltered by his family with good intentions, but ultimately undetermined results.
Kit's father and elder brother (currently unnamed), both of whom were very important to him, were killed during the war that led to the splintering of the packs. His father, I imagine, was a delta, and his brother was a Warrior/Sentinel. Where's his mother, you might ask? I'd like for Mama Nolastnameatthemoment to be someone who was one of those rare instances where the alpha (probably before Sam, but if Sam had been alpha for awhile, it could have been him) forced a split, because Kit's mom did not have the Keystone pack's best interests in her heart. Papa Nolastnameatthemoment would have probably requested exile, since he wouldn't want his babies mama to get offed, even if she was not a traditional mate/mother. Kit's got no memories of his mom, and being almost completely without her is probably why his dad and brother coddled him to the degree that they did.
Losing his father and brother, and the fact that his brother made sure that he was safe before he died, has given Kit something akin to PTSD. He has nightmares about it, but he tries to internalize his anguish and focus on taking care of the other members of the Wapiti pack, believing that if he keeps on focusing on something else, anything else, he won't have to deal with his own problems. Plus, he wants to be seen as useful, because he is not really that authoritative and he fears (however illogically) being treated like an Omega.
For storylines, I kind of want someone to take Kit under their wing and begin teaching him some of the fundamentals of self (and other) defense. He's got a semi-irrational intense dislike for most of the Keystone members who remained with the pack, but he isn't stupid enough to think that he's anywhere near ready to start being proactive about exacting revenge (minus the red marker... maybe...). Someone who attempts to talk him through his trauma would be good, too. Maybe, at some point, his mama could come around, too... but that's much more long term.
Please feel free to bounce ideas off of me. Come, let us powwow.
