Snupin Showers: Day 30!
A few months ago when the help_haiti community was holding auctions to raise money to support relief efforts in Haiti, I offered to make a few different knitted items, among them being hand-made knitted teddy bears. Lore was the winning bidder, and given the generous amount of her donation, I said I'd make three bears based on her OTP: Remus/Severus/Sirius.
I had made a Severus Bear for myself, and I wrote about the process here for the Severus Big Birthday Bang event, so if you're interested in where I got the pattern and how I did it, you can check that out.
Today's post, however, is to debut lore's bears! She hasn't seen them yet, because while I've been taunting her, I haven't shown her anything except one or two teaser photos of unfinished parts. Severus Bear and Remus Bear are complete and fully clothed; Sirius Bear still needs a hat and scarf, but otherwise, he's complete, so I've included him in the photos that follow.
Warning: image heavy post.
The Story of Three Bears:

Once upon a time, there was a bear named Severus who was cranky and snarky because he was lonely.
Severus didn't have any friends to talk to or cuddle with, which Remus Bear thought was very sad because he knew cuddles and chocolate solved everything. So one day, he went to Severus Bear and said, "I like you, and I'll be your friend, if you want me to be."
But Severus was so accustomed to being snarky (and lonely) that he rebuffed Remus. He called Remus a dunderhead and threatened to make him into a wolfskin rug.
But Remus knew how to translate Snark into English, and he understood what Severus really meant was "I like you, too", so he didn't go away and leave Severus alone. He stayed and stayed until Severus stopped being afraid that he would go away or start to dislike him like everyone else, and eventually, Severus decided he could tolerate a cuddle or two.
And so the two bears were friends, but then one day, Remus surprised Severus by giving him a kiss, and Severus surprised himself by letting Remus kiss him. "Kisses are even better than cuddles," Remus said, and Severus agreed.
And so the two bears had kisses and cuddles and chocolate, and they were very happy together. But then Remus' friend Sirius paid a call. He saw the cuddles and kisses and chocolate, and he was sad, because he wanted them too.
"Please may I cuddle and kiss you both and share your chocolate?" he asked.
Severus snarked and grumbled, but then Remus and Sirius put him in the middle of a very nice cuddle, and finally, he said yes. And they all lived happily ever after.
