The Snupin Recipe Book Project!
You may submit as many recipes as you like before the end of the event, which is November 30.
To submit a recipe, simply fill out the template below. You may post it either as a comment in response to this post or as a separate post in the community, although the mods would prefer separate posts to the community. You may post several recipes at once or in separate comments/posts.
Anyone who feels totally overwhelmed by posting can email their submission to Lupinsnape@gmail.com and one of the mods will post it for them.
If you associate certain foods/ingredients with a particular story or art, you can plug in those ingredients at Super Cook and get suggestions for recipes that use those ingredients.
If you're inspired by the recipe to create a new story or art of your own, you may, but the focus should be on the RL/SS-related recipe.
TEMPLATE:
Inspiration:
Title: [title of the story or art that you associate with this recipe with a link]
Author/Artist: [indicate whether the story/art is yours or someone else's]
Excerpt: [snippet of ~250 words from the story or a small thumbnail of the art]
Commentary: [brief explanation of why you associate this recipe with the story/art; no more than 500 words]
Source: [where the recipe originally came from - cookbook, magazine, your own original recipe, etc - if available]
Ingredients: [list of required ingredients with measurements]
Instructions: [cooking instructions]
Submitted by: [your fandom name or journal user ID]
In the end, don't get too hung up on the rules for this. If you want to do something outside of the guidlines, just ask a mod or go ahead and see what happens. This is a flexible challenge.
