If you haven't read Strictus Snipe and a Cure for Writers’ Block by rowen_r [PG] (2004), you're in for a screen-decorating, soda-snorting treat!
Why I recommend it: The purple prose--the sporking of ridiculously flowery description (which I've been guilty of a time or two)--the sheer fun of it made me laugh from the first line. Remus as a romance novelist is such a wonderful alternative job, and Severus' snide dismissal of the lurid bodice-rippers that come from his pen...you just have to read it for yourself!
My summary: Strictus Snipe is the lover all women want, the man all men want to be--and some really want, too--the wizard that makes everyone's heart stutter and pulses pound! And, he's the creation of Remus J. Lupin. It's enough to make one wonder where he got the idea for such a flamboyant lover.
