Happy Anniversary!
A (soppy) double drabble to celebrate the anniversary of my favourite comm! Love to you all! And special chocolate-dipped werewolf love to lore for running the whole shebang so beautifully!
*sprinkles kisses all round*
(Don't worry, I'm not infectious.)
“What’s in the box?”
“It’s a present. For you.”
“Ooh, goody! Hang on, that’s not like you. Why do I deserve such a thing?”
“In case you have forgotten, wolf, today is rather special.”
“Oh yes, it’s Rubber Dungeon Thursday, isn’t it?”
“Unfortunately, no.”
“Um, well then... is it Corsetry Saturday?”
“No.”
“Give me a clue.”
“Very well. Which month are we in?”
“April.”
“Correct. And what happens every year in April?”
“The London Marathon!”
“What else?”
“I don’t... Oh! It’s our anniversary!”
“Correct.”
“Blimey! So we’ve been together for four years, then.”
“Five.”
“Oh yes. I knew that really.”
“So, what’s in the box?”
“Well, perhaps if you stare long enough, your eyes will simply penetrate the wrapping, and you’ll have the answer.”
“I thought you knew that werewolf senses don’t work quite like that?”
“And I thought that you could recognise sarcasm when you heard it.”
“Oh. I’ll just open the box then?”
“If you’d be so good.”
“It’s gorgeous! A gold tag for my collar.”
“Indeed.”
“There’s an inscription.”
“Read it.”
“ ‘Moony’. If found, please return to Professor Snape. How sweet. I won’t wear it though.”
“No? Why not?”
“I’ll never leave your side.”
